What kinds of w**ds pop up in Bermuda &Zoysia lawns in the winter?

Anything green that pops up in the winter in your Bermuda lawn is considered a w**d. This could include any grassy type w**d, such as Poa Annua, chickw**d, spotted spurge, or henbit. It is extremely important to keep these w**ds under control so that when your Bermuda grass wakes back up in the spring, it is able to thrive and come into the nice full lawn that you want! We apply are pre-emerge so you don’t have to.

Your new home is finished, but the lawn is bare. Thankfully, you won’t have to face the problems of excess mud or erosion of bare earth, because dormant warm season Zoysia, and Bermuda turfgrasses may be installed during winter.

Dormant warm season grasses are brown, but they aren’t dead. The sod is “hibernating” until warm weather signals green-up in the spring.

You can install dormant sod in the winter to prevent erosion and mud, with green up and rooting taking place in the spring.
