The other night while refilling the water troughs, I noticed Moose’s water bowl was an absolute disaster. 🤦‍♀️ (See picture!)

I just shook my head and thought, "Man, our 100+ pound guardian dog really enjoyed himself today."

Well, the mystery was solved the very next day when I caught the culprits red-handed... or rather, muddy-hoofed.

Turns out, 15 piglets have been sneaking through the gate and using Moose’s water bowl as their own personal wading pool! 😂

Sorry, buddy. Their spa days aren’t going to last much longer! 🐷🚫🐶

Traditional top-watering often misses the core of dense Boston Fern roots. Water just bypasses the soil and drains out instantly.
The fix? Submerge the entire pot in a bucket. Those bubbles are trapped air escaping. Once they stop, you know the root ball is 100% saturated.
This works on all potted plants 🪴. Have you tried this method of watering?
