Join me Saturday, October 24th, for a charming fall celebration in historic downtown Newcastle!

The folks at DeWilde Haus Antiquities have been working incredibly hard to put together a wonderful event, and I’m so excited to be part of it!

Your ticket includes orchard-pressed apple c***r, hand-dipped caramel apples, kettle corn, live music, and more! Kids get their own pumpkin to take home and a cloth treat bag to collect candy from all the vendors!

Meet Hazel, the other doe I’m hoping will have babies this spring.

Hazel is Bambi’s mom and best milking goat I have. She’s an experienced mama, which made it an easy choice to make to breed again.

The buck arrived today! So hoping for March babies. I was hoping for mid-March but initial introductions went better than expected lol. So maybe late February early March now…

Made something special for Apple Dayz! 🍏

Granny Smith Whipped Body Butter is packed with rich butters, nourishing oils, and powdered goat milk from our own goats, with a fresh, crisp apple scent.

I made a limited batch just for Apple Dayz this Saturday at the Blue Goose in Loomis. And yes, it pairs perfectly with Granny Smith goat milk soap. 🍏

I’m hoping for baby goats in March!

Meet Bambi, one of the two does I’m planning to breed. Bambi was born right here at 1124 Farms and is Hazel’s daughter. Hazel is the best milking goat I have, and Bambi has the sweetest temperament, so she was an easy choice.

This will be Bambi’s first time having kids, so if all goes well we’ll have some very cute additions to the farm next spring!

I thought it would be fun to document the whole journey - from bringing home the buck (soon!) and ultrasounds to watching those pregnant bellies grow, and then hopefully babies in March!
