Wrapping up our sales today with the Lamb auction. For the last 4 years the kids donated to the 4H Endowment fund. They have always chosen to make it in memory of Grandma Shell, but this year Rae added on Papaw Flip. Even though she never got to meet him she got to represent him with her donation. She also had his birthday as her backtag number which was just a crazy coincidence. She was number 1011 and his bday was 10/11. Rae had to sell in a group of 6, so the amount you hear at the end is split 6 ways.

With the fair going on we thought a little flashback was worth it for Braden. He may have grown up a little bit.....

Today was our last show of the fair. Bunnies!
Braden got 1st for his group and got to participate in the Grand Finals. He did not place.
Only thing left for this year for the kids is their auctions. Hogs tonight and Lambs tomorrow.
Unfortunately they did not qualify for individual sales in eother so they will be in group sales which means whatever the bid is they have to split amongst all the kids in that group. Hoping for a high bid in all.

Not the day we hoped for, but honestly having each of them place in one of their classes is a good accomplishment. There are plenty who don't even place. They both should get a sale spot. Lots of time and effort goes into showing and they both did a good job. Very excited for the future!!
