Snuck Farm

Snuck Farm We are an urban farm and local market, growing produce year-round while cultivating community through workshops, food, creativity and discovery.

At Snuck Farm we are dedicated to growing produce we can feel good about eating and feeding our own families. All of our greens are hydroponically grown and are free of chemical pesticides and herbicides. Our farming methods allow us to save land and water, and eliminate soil erosion and run-off, while efficiently producing high-quality, local produce, year-round.

Our Hummus Plate, featuring a great lineup of vegetables, both pickled & fresh, is one of our favorite meals. It’s a classic pairing of bread, microgreens, veggies, & our housemade hummus, which rotates weekly. Come enjoy a Hummus Plate & feed your soul this week.

Right now, we’re in the messy middle. There are several projects taking shape at Snuck, the new Farmshop Cafe being one of them. It’s exciting. It’s uncertain. Two essential ingredients of anything worth doing.

All of us at Snuck have built and burned and failed gloriously at so many things, and we'll continue to do so. To stop would be counter to our very biology and the natural cycles we witness every day on the farm. Both literally and figuratively, this place unfailingly teaches us about the heartbreaking impermanence of things, and that even through loss, life continues to grow.

So what are you waiting for?
There is no better time to start living and leaning hard into the life you want.

That said, there are a few things I will tell you before you set off on your journey:

You can do this.
You will lose.
What grows will feed you.
Your heart will break.
You will come alive.
You must do this.

We have been occupied with all that summer has to offer: bountiful floral harvests on our land as well as our lively fresh greens from the greenhouse. We are harvesting both indoors & outdoors, & our kitchen team is bustling away as well, making sure our barnshop is well-stocked with delicious food for your summer tables. Behind the scenes, our grounds crew keeps the farm thriving & our summer workshop series welcomes our community to our space. The farm has certainly been full of life and growth this season.

At Snuck Farm, your greens are grown & sold within walking distance of where they were grown. No chemical pesticides or herbicides are ever used. They’re harvested fresh, often the same day you take them home, by people who live and work right here in our community.

We’re proud to grow clean, high-quality greens for our community. When you choose local, you’re supporting a safer, more resilient food system right in your own neighborhood.

With the limited space we have at Snuck, everything we grow is intentional. We choose to make space for flowers here for a few reasons:

Locally grown flowers have an incredible vase life! When flowers are grown and conditioned correctly, they last remarkably well. Because they're in your home so soon after harvest, you get to enjoy their full vase life instead of losing days to transportation.

Also, Snuck-grown flowers are gentler on the environment and on you. Our first instinct when we're handed a bouquet is often to bury our noses in it, not realizing it may have been sprayed with a myriad of chemicals. At Snuck, our blooms are grown sustainably using the safest and gentlest practices, so you can enjoy them without worry about what you are bringing into your body or home.

We value beauty, both literally & metaphorically, and love growing unique varieties. The flowers we grow are difficult to find in conventional stores. Certain blooms, like lisianthus and dahlias, don't ship well, so the best way to enjoy these beauties is to buy them locally. It's one of our intentions here at Snuck to put ourselves in the way of beauty and to offer that beauty to anyone who visits the farm.

From April through October, we work hard to keep the farmshop stocked with unique and beautiful bouquets. They come in two sizes: a small bouquet, to give as a gift or brighten a bedside table, and a large bouquet, which is lush and plentiful, and just right to fill your favorite vase.
