Blue Lotus Ranch

10/15/2026

Butterfly summer comes to a close. Probably 40 monarchs have been lovingly raised, many from eggs, and released for the long journey southward to Mexico. Some have been tagged. A truly mystifying experience..we have learned much from the ‘butterfly mama’.
Thank you, Lydia, for your love and care to this urgent and beautiful cause💕🦋

Join us for a class I’ll be leading tomorrow evening 5p.m. at The Collective Heart in Ottawa!

Flower Pounding Tea Towels🌸

Summer is waning, we can feel it, but come pick up a hammer and create your own keepsake of summer with the vibrant flowers of 2026, forever impressed upon a beloved kitchen towel for the busy baking season ahead.

Learn about the art of Tataki-zome, a Japanese art form that translates to “hammering dye” from the natural pigments of flowers and foliage.

Bring your questions and your curiosity and join us for a little nature art therapy🥰🌸
All inclusive class, registration encouraged, but walk-in’s welcome. $15
