As much as we love Clyde living in the house, he needs his own space (outside!), with room for company. We are going to start building a home for him later this week and wondered if anyone had materials laying around that are no longer needed/you want to donate to the cause? We are at 41 Plank Rd in Porter Corners or can pick up, if helpful.

We need:
2X4s
Plywood
Roofing metal
Small windows
Latches
Door handles
Hinges
Screws
Fencing
Farm gate
Old gift cards with random balance to home improvement or farm supply store

Thank you for being such a loving and supportive community.

Clyde had a good vet visit today. We are estimating his age around 1.5 months, confirmed that he’s adorable, and set up his shot schedule.

The bucket is full with more corn, watermelons, and now pumpkins (I know it’s AUGUST 🤦‍♀️), acorn squash, eggplant, zucchini, and lots more.

We sold out of raspberry peach jam already but have more in the works.

Open 7a-8p everyday at 41 Plank Rd in Porter Corners. Come for a visit!

ps. If you have paper bags hanging around, we’d LOVE them.

We’ve been busy today making peach jam from my Moms peach tree. We also made a specialty batch of raspberry peach that might be my favorite of all time. Ash says “they are both delicious”!

We also have lots of other jams, watermelon (yellow and red), cantaloupe, corn, eggplant, onions, garlic, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, and more in the Bucket.

Open 7a-8p everyday at 41 Plank Rd in Porter Corners.

Good morning from Harvey-De-La-Roo! He’s keeping an eye on the teenagers this morning.

You know what goes well with homemade farm bread? Raspberry jam! We made both this morning 🥰

We also have watermelon (yellow and red), cantaloupe, corn, eggplant, acorn squash, zucchini, onions, garlic, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, and more in the Bucket. Open 7a-8p everyday at 41 Plank Rd in Porter Corners.

Ps. All reserved bread is on top of the fridge labeled 😊

What a storm last night! All is well(ish) at the Bucket. The animals are all good, including Pickles and Chickie, our newest residents. Clyde waited the storm out on the couch, of course.

Pickles, the mini pig, arrived on Monday and is here short term until his parents find Pickles friendly housing and is still getting used to the place.

Chickie, a chicken, was found living with a group of wild ducks and brought to us by a(n amazing) wildlife rehabilitator. Chickie tried out life with chickens but decided she really prefers goats. You’ll see her hanging with Mabel’s crew, often on Sampson or Mabel’s backs. She has a coop behind the goat barn but has gone to bed with the goats each night since the first day she arrived (also Monday).

We got a LOT of rain during the storm last night so we are dealing with some water damage and flooding, now mud. Please use caution at the farmstand today as the pavers collapsed in places (we moved the tables to block it and Ash loaned us one of his construction cones). If you go out to visit the animals, just watch for the slippery mud— especially by Simone.
We are working on filling in the run and visiting area in front of it.

We have watermelon, cantaloupe, corn, and lots of other produce in the Bucket. Open 7a-8p everyday at 41 Plank Rd in Porter Corners.

Clyde update: he’s still adorable and cuddly and he’s getting sufficiently spoiled. He gets along great with the dogs and is enjoying exploring the house and yard. We are hoping to get him checked out at the vet this week so we can get him settled in with his goat family in a goat barn(!). We only have diapers that are a little too big and way too small so we had to resort to the duct tape belt (only in contact with the diapers, obviously).

Melon update: sold out of all kinds until later this week!

We do have lots of veggies and other goodies are still available in the bucket. Peppers, tomatoes, onions, zucchini, summer squash, garlic, cabbage, and more.

Open 7a-8p every day at 41 Plank Rd in Porter Corners.

We had an unexpected addition yesterday. Meet Clyde! He’s a tiny Nigerian dwarf goat that urgently needed a home. Needless to say, he found his forever home at Full Bucket. He loves to cuddle and frolic but we don’t know much else about him yet.

The bucket is full, just no bread (I’m sorry!). Stop by for delicious melons, eggplant, corn ($4 a dozen), and much more. Open 7a-8p every day at 41 Plank Rd in Porter Corners.
