Join us for a special Juneteenth weekend edition of WeABL: We “R” ABL - We Restfully Activate Black Lands.
This month, we are gathering at Black Futures Farm during our standing Sunday open farm day, Black Sundays - a weekly offering from May through October, where folks of the African diaspora are invited to come hang out, connect, and be on the land. This is a black folks only space.
We are coming together to rest, eat, connect, celebrate, and simply be with one another on Black land.
We’ll have food catered by Miss CoKeia’s Vegan Soul Food, and there may be an opportunity to experience the DoomCube, an interactive art piece featured during Black Futures Farm’s Juneteenth/Doomteenth event earlier that weekend.
This gathering also happens to fall on the anniversary of Black Futures Farm, founders, Malcolm and nearby, so we’ll be holding extra love and gratitude for their relationship, relationships, visions, and commitments that make spaces like this possible.
Come rest with us before heading into the evening!
