Before StormBreaker Brewing opened, this space was home to Amnesia Brewing.

This Saturday (4/18), we’ll be hosting a Celebration of Life for Kevin King. We got together with some of the original Amnesia crew to brew Copacetic IPA in his honor, which we’ll be tapping that day.

Huge thanks to Laboratories, Inc. and for donating the grain, hops, and yeast used to brew Copacetic IPA.

Last week, we brewed Copacetic IPA with some of the old crew from Amnesia Brewing, in tribute to Kevin King, owner of Amnesia and a big part of Portland’s beer history.

Before StormBreaker came Amnesia Brewing. I sold their beer with Point Blank, I worked here, brewed here, and eventually took over this space. Brewing Copacetic again on this system, with the people who helped build it, is an honor.

On April 18, we’ll be hosting Kevin King’s Celebration of Life. $1 from each pint sold will be donated in honor of Kevin.

We’re grateful to Wyeast Laboratories, Inc.st Laboratories and Rahrbsg for their generous support and contributions.

We’re looking forward to enjoying a pint of this with everyone and celebrating Kevin on April 18.

We’re officially 12 years old and the celebration starts at 11:00 AM. We’ve got a packed lineup to thank you for a dozen great years on Mississippi Ave:

• Design-a-Beer Contest: Submit your dream recipe today—we’re picking our favorite to actually brew and put on tap!
• Scavenger Hunt: 12 items hidden around the pub. Find them all to win a prize.
• Timbers at 1:30 PM: Away match vs. Colorado with the sound ON.
• Anniversary IPA: Freshly tapped and ready to flow.

We’re celebrating 12 years with a gauntlet of 8 4oz pours for just $12. No hints, just you and your palate.

The Mission: Identify all 8 beers correctly.
The Reward: Win a prize and serious bragging rights!

Doors open at 11am tomorrow (Saturday).

12 YEARS OF STORMBREAKER. 🍻

We’re celebrating our 12th Anniversary the best way we know how—by tapping something special for the final days of Stout Month.

This Saturday, Feb 28th, we’re releasing the Coffee and Barrel‑Aged Opacus Oatmeal Stout. ☕️🪵

We took our Opacus Oatmeal Stout—which just brought home a 2025 World Beer Cup Silver and an Oregon Beer Awards Gold—and gave it the royal treatment. It’s rich, it’s limited, and it’s a perfect way to toast to 12 years.

Not a dark beer lover? Don’t worry. We’ll have some brand‑new releases on tap too, so there’s an option for everyone.
