No excuses, always be training for the Stein Holding Competition. Work is temporary, glory is eternal!

Very excited to welcome you all to Oktoberfest 2026! This Saturday 10/10 from 12-9pm. One of the highlights will of course be the annual Stein Holding Competition. We'll run Men's and Women's comps starting at 315ish.

Sometimes it's the little things. You may have heard, things are tough in the world for breweries and the service industry overall. We can attest that is very true, and at Occidental we are always short on time, money and labor to tackle projects beyond keeping the b**r flowing. But one project we are checking off the list is reupholstering our chairs. Between cleaning kegs and throwing amazing parties, it's going to take a minute, but know that we are always trying to put our best foot (chair) forward and make this a great place to hangout.

Dave's Trivia tonight is a great time to see our DYI progress, with more updates to come. Thanks for your continued support!

This Saturday!! Oktoberfest is so close, so excited to celebrate with you all. Some housekeeping items.

Entry is $16 and includes your mug and 1 b**r.

Festival Brass will be rocking the tent from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm

Annual Stein holding competition will start at 3:30 pm.

Food all day from Urban German catering.

Family friendly. Wine/Cider/NA available. Merriment abound!

We got the music covered! Festival Brass is back again! Oktoberfest is October 10th, 12-9 pm.

Music, food, b**r all lined up, BUT we could still use some servers for the day. Very straightforward 4-5 hr shift. OLCC server permit required. Please email [email protected] if you are interested.

You heard the man, Occidental Oktoberfest returns October 10th, 12-9pm! Our biggest and best party of the year. We'll have Festival Brass back to truly make it a party in the big tent. Food will be available from Urban German. Of course an absolute knockout b**r lineup led by Festbier and c***r and w**e too if you are into that sort of thing. The now very competitive stein holding competition will return as well. It's going to be a killer party as always. Can't wait to see you all!
