Donate to Support Families Impacted by ICE β
Hello friends,
Weβre teaming up with Be Loved Bloc and Common Fire to raise awareness, and funds, for families impacted by ICE. As theyβve put it best, in times like these, we must come together to look out for one another.
For the next month, weβre asking you to consider making a donation to this incredible cause. Every little bit goes a long way. Funds raised will be used to purchase meat, dairy, produce, culturally specific foods, and other essential groceries for families that are unable to leave their homes, go to work for fear of detainment, or worse.
To make a donation, you can Venmo (or follow the link in our bio). Be sure to leave a π emoji in your donation description so that we can track the funds raised as we climb towards our goal of $2,000.
On October 3rd, and as the culmination to all of these efforts, we will be hosting a Soup & Mutual Aid Social event: Friends Share the Harvest! At that event, you will be able to participate in Care Kit building, which will also be given to impacted families, while immersing yourself and learning about other various mutual aid groups around town.
Our Portland community means so much to us, and we appreciate you all immensely for considering donating and participating.
