That’s a wrap on Barmageddon, and what a week it was 🙌

Swipe through for some highlights from our distillery tours and the local spirits expo ➡️ We had so much fun pouring, talking shop, and showing off the still to bartenders and industry folks from all over the country.

Huge thanks to Portland Bar Coalition and Jeff Terry for all the work that went into making this happen. So much gratitude for building a showcase that made room for small craft distilleries alongside the big names. It meant a lot to see small craft distilleries and independent Portland producers get a real seat at the table. You built this one from the ground up, and it showed 💙

Thank you to Lot001 Brands for helping us pull off the tours so smoothly. We couldn’t have done it without you.

And to every bartender and service industry member who came through: thank you for your curiosity, your great questions, and your good company 🥃 If you’re bringing a little Portland craft back to your bar program, thank you in advance. Small makers notice, and we’re grateful ❤️

Tomorrow, Monday 10/5, we’re opening up the distillery for two behind-the-scenes tours as part of Portland Bar Coalition’s Barmageddon. Meet our custom copper still, poke around the barrels, taste through what we’re making, and talk shop with the crew that’s been doing this in Portland’s Central Eastside since 2004. 🥃

Rose City Pilot

1½ oz Distiller’s Cut Rum
¾ oz New Deal Spiced Rum
½ oz fresh grapefruit juice
¾ oz fresh lime juice
½ oz Daddy’s Cinnamon Demerara Syrup
½ oz Daddy’s Banana Falernum Cockail Syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 lime wheel and/or a cherry for garnish

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a double rocks glass over pebble ice. Garnish with a lime wheel and a cherry.

It’s Negroni Week so why not try a bittersweet variation on a classic. This Negroni Blanc is made with Cascadia Liqueur, our Pacific Northwest take on a bitter alpine liqueur that’s both herbal and floral. It combines beautifully with our crisp, classic Portland Dry Gin 33, Cocchi Americano, and bitters to form a lovely cocktail that’s easy to make at home.

Negroni Blanc

1½ oz Portland Dry Gin 33
¾ oz Cascadia American Bitter Liqueur
¾ oz Cocchi Americano
1 dash Portland Bitters Project Orange Bitters
1 dash Angostura Bitters
1 lemon peel for garnish

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a lemon peel.
