The combination of strawberries and basil in this summer drink is down right delicious. Perfect on a warm, sunny day!

Strawberry Basil Cooler

2 oz Portland 90 Vodka
½ oz lime juice
¾ oz simple syrup
3 strawberries, tops removed and quartered
5 basil leaves
soda water
1 basil leaf for garnish

Muddle the strawberries and basil in the simple syrup. Add vodka and lime juice to the tin and shake hard with ice. Unseal and add a few glugs of soda water to the tin. Fine strain into a tall glass filled with ice and garnish with a basil leaf.

What a weekend. 🖤

We’re so proud to have sponsored Void Tattoo Fest, an event that brought world-class tattoo talent, local makers, and the whole neighborhood together in the heart of Portland’s Central Eastside. Events like this are exactly why this community is so special.

Happy National Craft Distillery Day 🥃 Our favorite day to raise a glass to the people who made all of this possible!

We’re throwing it back to this video we made for the American Craft Spirits Association’s 10th anniversary in 2023, featuring our founder and head distiller, Tom Burkleaux , talking about where it all began ✨ the spark in 2001, opening our doors in 2004, and watching this industry grow from a small, scrappy movement into something truly remarkable.

Twenty-plus years in, we’re still here. Still independently owned. Still making every bottle right here in Portland’s Central Eastside. And none of it would mean anything without you.

To our customer, thank you for choosing craft. To the bartenders who’ve poured our spirits and put them in the hands of guests who’d never heard of us, thank you. To the supporters, the regulars, the people who’ve shown up for tours, tastings, and just a Friday afternoon pour, thank you. You are genuinely the reason we keep doing this.

Oregon was early to this craft spirits thing, and we’re proud to be one of the distilleries that helped build what it is today. Come see where it started. We’re open daily 12–6pm at 900 SE Salmon St. No reservations needed — just curiosity and a good attitude.

What’s better than a glass of bubbles? Maybe a glass of bubbles bursting with floral aromatics, a bit of gin, and bright citrus? You’ll love this super easy gin and champagne cocktail with notes of rose, elder flower, lychee and pear.

Bubble Trouble

1 oz Portland Dry Gin 33
½ oz NDD Elder Flower Syrup
sparkling wine
1 lemon peel for garnish

Combine gin and elder flower syrup in flute and top with chilled sparkling wine. Give a little stir to incorporate the ingredients and garnish with a lemon twist.
