What a summer of alpaca yoga in the pasture! 🌿🦙🧘‍♀️ We loved every peaceful, joy-filled moment and we’re so grateful to all the wonderful groups who joined us.

A special thank-you to the Harrison High School Cheer JV squad for spending this beautiful morning with us and giving our alpacas plenty of love and attention. They were thoroughly spoiled! 💛 🦙

Now we’re ready to ease into fall with our next community alpaca yoga experiences on September 6 and September 20. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the pasture for a little movement, fresh air, connection, and time to simply slow down with the herd. 🍂 🧘‍♂️

A little pasture magic for a very special bride-to-be.

Beneath the trees on a beautiful summer day, friends and family gathered for lunch and mimosas, made flower crowns together, and even shared a few blooms with the alpacas. There was laughter, sunshine, and that wonderfully unhurried feeling that comes from celebrating surrounded by nature and a few charming, curious faces.

Such a whimsical and heartfelt way to honor a beautiful friendship, a new chapter, and a love story just beginning its next adventure. Some days simply feel touched by magic, and this was certainly one of them. 💛

Sunset in the pasture, birds singing, sound bowls vibrating, alpacas humming, and so many peaceful, smiling souls. ✨

Our Sound Bath Series, beautifully guided by Sarah Woolson of Sarah Woolson, has quickly become one of our most-loved wellness experiences—and the animals seem to love it just as much as the humans.

We’re sold out for the remainder of the year, but stay tuned: we’re already working on more dates for 2027. 💛

As summer begins to wind down, we’re looking forward to our favorite season at the ranch—the leaves changing, the air becoming a little crisper, the alpacas growing back their beautiful fleece, and quiet afternoons spent outside without quite so much Georgia humidity. 🍂

Our fall calendar includes Guided Ranch Experiences, Sunset Picnics, Alpaca Yoga, and one Adult Wrangler Camp. The remaining dates for each are listed above, and reservations are now open through our website.

Private events are currently booked through mid-November, and our Sound Bath series is sold out for the remainder of the year—but we look forward to bringing those peaceful evenings back again next spring.

We’d love to welcome you to the ranch this fall. 🤎 🍂

Marietta Cheer brought the energy to the ranch!

We loved welcoming Marietta Football & Game Day Comp Cheer for a morning of alpaca yoga, team bonding, fresh air, plenty of laughter, and lots of alpaca spoiling. Their energy was contagious, and it was so much fun watching them slow down, enjoy nature, and make a few new fluffy friends along the way.

Such an amazing group of young women getting ready for a big season ahead. We’ll be cheering you on! 📣✨

💛 Home.

After 10 days away, Phenix is finally back where she belongs.

Her first knee surgery was a success, and she’s now home with her herd, her best buddy Bodhi…and most importantly, her mom, Betty White. Watching everyone welcome her back was something we’ll never forget.

Now the real work begins. Over the next several weeks, she’ll focus on rest, daily rehabilitation, and healing here at the ranch before returning to the University of Tennessee later this fall for her second knee surgery.

We’re incredibly grateful for the outstanding care she received and couldn’t be happier to have our brave little girl back home.

One step at a time, Phenix. 💛🦙

Cooler mornings. Golden evenings. Curious alpacas. Quiet conversations. Time spent outdoors, away from the noise.

September always brings a fresh rhythm to the ranch as our fall picnics, guided tours, and alpaca yoga return for another beautiful season.

Phenix Update

First, thank you.

The love, prayers, kind messages, and encouragement you’ve sent our sweet girl have meant more than you know. We’ve read every comment, and they’ve truly lifted our spirits.

After her initial evaluation at Auburn University, Phenix was referred to the University of Tennessee because of their experience with orthopedic surgery in camelids. We’re incredibly grateful to both teams for working together to get her exactly where she needed to be.

This week, Phenix underwent the first of two surgeries to repair her bilateral luxated patellas (both kneecaps).

Her left knee was the more severe one, and we’re so thankful to share that she came through surgery and anesthesia beautifully. 💛

She’s now recovering at the University of Tennessee, where she’ll spend the next 7–10 days with an outstanding team of veterinarians, surgeons, residents, technicians, and nurses who have been caring for her around the clock. We truly can’t say enough about the compassion, communication, and expertise they’ve shown throughout this process.

If everything continues to heal as expected, Phenix will come home late next week for about a month before returning to Tennessee for surgery on her second knee.

We know she still has a road ahead of her, but today we’re simply grateful. Grateful for modern veterinary medicine, grateful for the incredible people caring for her, and grateful for every prayer, positive thought, and message you’ve shared with our family.

Please keep Phenix in your thoughts as she continues healing. We can’t wait for the day she’s back in the pasture, enjoying life with Betty White and the rest of the herd.

Summer may be a little quieter around the ranch, but there’s still plenty of smiles, curious noses, and peaceful moments to share. 💛

A little update on Phenix. 💛

If you visit the ranch over the next several months, you may notice one sweet face missing from the pasture.

This week we’ve spent time at Auburn University’s Large Animal Hospital after Phenix had been struggling to walk comfortably. Her back legs had begun locking up, and after a thorough evaluation, the team diagnosed a rare issue with both of her knees that causes her kneecaps to slip out of place.

Because this condition is uncommon in alpacas, the surgeons are consulting with specialists across multiple disciplines to give her the very best plan possible. She’ll undergo surgery one leg at a time, followed by a long recovery.

Recovery will take time, but she’s exactly where she needs to be, surrounded by people who love her.

Around here, our animals have never been “just livestock.” They’re family. When one of them needs us, we simply show up for them.

Thank you for keeping our little sweet pea in your thoughts as she begins her journey back to the pasture. We’ll be sure to share updates along the way.
