You may remember seeing this post a few months ago, but this is always a great topic to chat on! How much meat do you bring home when you purchase a whole beef from LoKey? Check out the numbers below to answer that question!

Factors That Affect Total Yield
- cut preferences (more steaks & roasts mean less ground beef)
- animal size
- processing options (bone in vs bone out)
- fat content

**To note, this specific beef was processed for our retail needs. When you order a beef from LoKey, you’ll fill out a cut sheet to match your preferences… chuck roasts, cube steaks, etc.
