Top indexing buck kid this year. To say we are excited about this is an understatement. This is a cross we hope to make often in the coming years and hopefully we will be able to send the next one to a buck test. Although he has already made the weight limit at just 79 days old he is not able to attend due to the fact he is 13 days too young to attend the Dakota buck test.

He is double bred JTV Duke & MJI Demelza and out of last years top buck from the Dakota Buck test and SHR Dukes Pilgrim daughter. Take notice of the grand dam on the bottom of this young bucks pedigree. She is a daughter of SPG 412 Scotch on the Rocks (owned by Jess and Janessa Smola with Kracked out Kiko’s). We bought this doe in one of the Oklahoma sales several years back and she has been as good as any doe in our herd. You will see more of her in some of our future pedigrees.

We had a great weekend at The New Green Country invitational!

Want to say thank you to all who showed a vote of confidence in our offerings. Even though you may have not been able to take one home with you we truly appreciate you bidding on them.

Also want to thank Bill, Kisa, & Grayson Francis with Stoney Creek Kiko’s for all the hard work, time, and organization of the not just the sale but all the classes and events leading up to the sale. They assembled a great set of folks to keep classes, meals, & the sale flowing and it made for a great turnout of seasoned breeders as well as new breeders & inspiring breeders.
Cooper as always kept the sale moving without neglecting any lots or consignors. I personally think this type of sale & activities leading up to the sale is what we have been missing the last few years. I may be wrong but believe that attendance & bidding was up from the last few years.

We also had a great weekend meeting new friends and catching up with old friends as well.

We were also able to pick 2 more doe’s up and add to our herd and look forward to seeing how those additions impact our herd in the future.

We were also able to tie with Ashfield Farms as the top selling doe in the sale and done very well on other lots as well. It makes us very proud to take lots from multiple sire’s and do as well as we did and want to again say THANK YOU to all who took an interest in our offerings and placed bids on them. Even though you may not have taken one home.
