Split Hoof Ranch would like to congratulate all the buck test consignors of 2026.

Most test have concluded except North Dakota but want to say congratulations to all the buck test consignors. I think many don’t understand the commitment, time & money it takes to get bucks across the country to participate in these buck tests. Each of the consignors are in my opinion doing your part to improve and push the kiko goat to the top of the meat goat industry. While the data doesn’t show everyone is a winner, I believe every consignor is a winner because you now have the ability to take the data from your entries and make improvement within your herd.

In the grand scheme of things if we all utilize this data it will improve the kiko breed and push us ahead of the other meat goat breeds.

Just my opinion but, the best 26/89 son ever!! Don’t miss this!

It’s really hard to believe he is the old man on campus. Justified put us on the map as far buck testing goes back in 21.

He is not getting as many doe’s as he normally does but still getting some. I guess that is the price you pay for hanging around so long.

He has never needed deworming or had his feet trimmed. As his name states he was the top buck in the 2021 EOSC buck test.

We are dry and very hot here, 17 days with 100+ degrees but the doeling crop is still looking good!!
