I LOVE seeing young people in the kitchen. There is something so inspiring about watching their creativity, confidence, and talent come to life.

But I’ll be honest, watching this also brings up something close to my heart. Every week, I work with clients navigating health challenges that can be influenced by the way we eat. Genetics can play a role, but so can the recipes, habits, and cooking methods we pass down from generation to generation.

Our food traditions carry love, history, and connection. I want us to keep all of that while exploring ways to make those same satisfying flavors, and that CRUNCH 😉, a little easier on the body.

I would love to sit down with this talented budding chef and explore those possibilities together. With creativity like his, imagine what we could cook up!

And let’s be clear: I’m sure this young man has plenty he could teach ME, too. 😉

We LOVE pouring time, energy, and a little kitchen wisdom into our youth! 💚

Although this year’s competition team is already set, there’s still a place at the table for your budding chef in our Youth Culinary Explorers Program at Cleangoodeats.

We meet once a month after school to get hands-on in the kitchen and learn:

• Knife skills and kitchen safety
• International cuisines
• The nutrition behind the meals we make
• How to cook without always needing a recipe
• Healthy swaps for favorite foods
• How everyday food choices affect their bodies
• Table etiquette
• HOW TO CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES—yes, parents, that’s part of the lesson! 😉
• And so much more!

We’re a farm-to-table cooking studio, using organic ingredients whenever possible and making most of our dishes from scratch. Students get to explore new flavors, build confidence, and learn skills they can use long after class ends.

Our young chefs will once again have the opportunity to showcase their creativity, culinary skills, teamwork, and everything theyve been working so hard to learn. We couldnt be more proud!

But today, we want to shine the spotlight on someone who is helping make this opportunity possible.
