Adan Angelo Valenzuela began with Borgic Farms working in our company owned wean to market sites. His calm demeanor and can do attitude quickly showed us what he is capable of. After 6 months Adan transferred to our Nokomis farm and continues to learn, teach and grow. He is a great teammate and is hungry for more.

Adan recently received his Borgic jacket to thank him for his first year working with us. Congratulations Adan and thank you for all you do!

Frank and Suzi had the opportunity to attend the annual Saddle Up conference hosted by BinSentry in Houston this past week.

As always, this was a very informative conference. Technology is becoming such a driving force in agriculture and we’re proud to work with BinSentry on next generation technologies.

In addition to a lot of education and opportunities to speak with many on the forefront of always wanting more, there was a lot of fun and amazing food.

Thank you BinSentry for another fantastic experience.

It’s been a great year for the Borgic farms team. We recently had several members from the team attending the annual CVS conference. During the conference Borgic’s were recognized for our Nursery performance as well as our Finishing performance. Our Nokomis sow farm team was awarded the Top Throughput award.

Phil Borgic spoke at the conference as well. He presented on working through the ever changing industry and how we never stop pushing for excellence.

We would like to thank Carthage Veterinary Service for once again putting on a fantastic conference that was educational as well as a lot of fun.

Alan Drew recently celebrated his one year anniversary with Borgic Farms. Assistant Manager of Production, Luis Molina proudly presented Alan his Borgic jacket.

Several members of the Borgic team volunteered their Saturday to work at the Pork Patio at the Illinois State Fair. It was a great turnout with a lot of tasty pork products! Thanks to the Illinois Pork Producers for all of their efforts and support.
