Meet Alison Kibler, founder of Lancaster Vice and a participant in our recent pitch competition!

Through engaging walking tours and a podcast, Lancaster Vice brings the city’s diverse history to life by uncovering previously hidden stories from Lancaster’s “wide open” era of commercial s*x, gambling, and drinking. Along the way, the experience connects visitors with downtown hospitality businesses and offers a fascinating new way to explore the city.

🎉 We are so proud of our Berks LaunchBox student employee, Amanda Kue, who was recognized with a Penn State Values Award during Homecoming!

Amanda brings so much to our team. She is dependable, thoughtful, curious, and always willing to jump in wherever she is needed. Whether she is helping with classes, learning new makerspace equipment, building and demonstrating robots for youth programs, or creating samples, Amanda approaches everything with enthusiasm and care.

She is also a leader in the FIERCE program, where she is serving as a captain this year.

Amanda truly reflects Penn State's values of Discovery, Responsibility, Community, and Excellence, and we feel very lucky to have her as part of the LaunchBox team.

Congratulations, Amanda! This recognition is so well deserved! 💙🤍

Veilka and Neo recently worked with Berks LaunchBox engineer Andrew Linares to complete a 3D upper-body scan and print a detailed physical likeness.

The project gave them an opportunity to explore how 3D scanning and printing can support customized product development, creative prototyping, and other future business applications. We love helping entrepreneurs experiment with new technology and turn possibilities into something tangible.
