Pearlstone’s Farm & Forest School is a nature-based program for ages 6–16 in Reisterstown, Maryland. Our curriculum is built around six core skills: land stewardship, community building, regenerative gardening, wilderness awareness & preparedness, wildcrafting & foraging, and ecology.

Throughout the seasons, students gain real-world skills while building character, cultivating belonging, and deepening their connection to the Earth. 🌎

Great to have here yesterday. They fostered "meaningful conversations, team-building, and moments of gratitude" at their day conference at Pearlstone.

Yesterday, the admin team stepped away from our desks and spent the day together at Pearlstone for a retreat centered on the powerful theme of Hakarat HaTov.

As we prepare to welcome students, families, and staff for a new school year, we took time to reflect on the people who make OCA such a special place. Through meaningful conversations, team-building, and moments of gratitude, we focused on how Hakarat Hatov strengthens our relationships, our work, and ultimately the experience we create for every child.

We left feeling refreshed and inspired. Here's to a year filled with gratitude!
