Only 3 WEEKS left till end of season closing on November 1st, as of now we still have tons of eggs, microgreens, brats, chickens and baked goods.

As we head into cooler weather, you may notice fewer farm-fresh eggs in the fridge.

Our girls naturally slow down their egg production as the days get shorter and the temperatures cool off. Because of this, egg availability will be limited from now until we close for the season at the end of October.

We’ll continue putting out whatever the girls give us, but once they’re gone for the day, they’re gone! 🐔🥚

To piggyback off of our friends post that have been hit by the same thieves twice now, we do watch our cameras and we do hear your remarks about never having eggs. Let’s do some chicken math, I buy eggs from 5 trusted sources and still can’t keep up with the entire towns demand for eggs, we sold through 14 dozen on Saturday, within hours.

Chickens lay 1 egg a day, I have 30 layers but some of them are older girls and are just living out there best years of retirement. 20 solid girls that lay eggs is 1 1/2 dozen eggs a day, 1 DOZEN. We do not run a factory farm, we do not get thousands of bleached and chemically altered eggs a day. We get 1 1/2 dozen.

Not only that, please know that all of the farm stands in Roanoke do have a camera and we do watch them. Comments that are rude, cussing, or thievery will not be tolerated. We run this as a family, and the Roanoke farm stands are a family as well, we will report you and share.
