Sadly we had to say goodbye to our Josephina. She was 10 years old and passed in her sleep. She was bottle fed because she was a twin and her mom could not keep up milk wise. She will be the most missed as we all loved her. She weighed almost 1 pound at birth. We had given up hope on her survival. She fought the odds and had a wonderful life!!!

Before we start planting strawberries there is a process. Here are some pictures of what we have to work with before we get going. We do wet down the roots of the plants before we plant them.

We planted strawberries today! They will be next years crop. People often ask how the planting process works. It will only let me post one video at a time. But here is #1. It is showing how we put the plants into what they call fingers. Then the planter simply puts it in the ground.

We are so lucky to live on this farm and get to share its beauty with all of you. This is the top pasture that most people don’t get to see. We fixed the fence so the cows now have even more room to move.
