We’re popping up at Edgebrook Shops farmers market again today! Come support all your favorite local farmers who are out here despite the rain because they harvested all their goodies for you yesterday and they don’t want them to go to waste (er the compost pile!) speaking of compost—you can sign up for the compost club at the market and take home a bin on the spot! Easy peasy!

Thanks to Logan at RockBuzz Rockford for coming out to the farm and learning about what we’re doing to make compost easy and accessible for everyone —-including Kate’s husband who never liked having a kitchen compost bin before because of the smell and fruit flies…and guess what? We use bins that get his approval for being smell free and bug free. The snap tight lids with no holes keep the bugs and smell OUT of your kitchen!

Lily is one of our flagship members and perennial cheerleaders and Kate and Jessie have taken classes from her and are obsessed! She has so many nature patterns—it’s really a match made in heaven! (And great art therapy!)
