St. Rt. 664 in front of Hugus Fruit Farm is OPEN again! The roadwork is completed, the signs and barriers are gone (to other projects). To all those who have waited for this roadwork to be done, come on over! To all those who persisted in winding around the "back way" detour, a huge THANK YOU for continuing to support our orchard business. Our salesroom is open Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm. Apples and c***r a-plenty.

Sep. 26 Happy 252nd Birthday Johnny Appleseed! Celebrate with one Quart of Apple C***r for $2.52 at Hugus Fruit Farm salesroom. Saturday only 9am-6pm. Limit one quart per customer. Johnny Appleseed collected apple seeds at c***r mills from their pumice remnants after c***r pressing. With these he planted nurseries throughout the Ohio frontier in the early 1800s.

Olympic pears AND Pear C***r now in stock for a limited time at Hugus Fruit Farm. The pear harvest was small due to the three springtime freezes that we had. So grab these pear items while they last. Our salesroom hours are Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm.

The Olympic Asian pears are in the Hugus Fruit Farm salesroom. You have been asking and now they are ready, about one week sooner than expected. But we have only about 1/3 of our usual amount, so don't delay in getting your sweet pear crunch. Our salesroom is open Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm. The north section of St Rt 664 is closed for road repairs in the daytime, so come around via County Line Rd and you will find us glad to see you.

When you see the first sign (Stop for roadwork), look for the second sign (Hugus Detour) at the intersections! ODOT is replacing culverts on Rt. 664 during September. They are closing sections of Rt. 664 between Rushville and Bremen during weekday work hours. You can still get to Hugus Fruit Farm by going around to County Line Rd. (accessible from Rt. 37 and from Rt. 22), then onto Old Rushville Rd. where you will find our orchard salesroom just where we have been for 80 years! Open Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm.
