Let's talk pastrami. 🥪

First things first, YES, we're still serving up these bad boys every single Wednesday here at Urban Roots.

Second, we've got a seasonal menu refresh coming in the next few weeks, and we're seriously considering making our pastrami sandwich a permanent addition to the lineup.

We can't make any promises just yet, but we know a good thing when we've got one.

Some shiny new hardware for the brewery!

Peter and Julian just returned from Denver and the 2026 Great American B**r Festival, bringing home THREE medals for Urban Roots!

🥇 GOLD — 2025 Demon's Run Reserve | Barrel-Aged Strong Stout
🥈 SILVER — Clash of the Tartans | British Strong Ale or Aged B**r
🥉 BRONZE — No Tricks | American or Export Stout

We're beyond proud of our rock star production crew, who continue to put in the work, brew incredible b**r, and bring home the hardware year after year.

October means one thing around here: Demons Run season.

Peter and Julian recently tasted their way through this year’s barrels, searching for the standouts and deciding which ones will make up the different variants of our upcoming release.

And the bar is pretty damn high. 2025 Demons Run had an incredible run at b**r competitions, so following that up is no small task.

Fortunately, these barrels are giving us plenty to be excited about.

Hop selection season is basically Christmas morning for brewers.

Peter and Julian were recently up in Yakima, Washington evaluating this year’s harvest and hand-selecting lots of Mosaic + Simcoe for Urban Roots.

Hop selection gives brewers the chance to smell, rub, compare, and choose the specific lots that best fit what they’re looking for.

Those selections will make their way into upcoming Urban Roots b**rs, and based on the reactions here, we’re feeling pretty good about what’s coming. 🍻

Soft. Juicy. Tropical. Exactly how we like our Hazies.

Trampled by Lambs Hazy IPA comes in at 7% ABV and is hopped with Citra Cryo, Citra Quantum, and Galaxy for an intensely fruit-forward profile loaded with passionfruit, peach, and citrus zest.

It finishes smooth and pillowy, with plenty of hop character without losing that easy-drinking softness.
