Hi everyone
We have a lot of different apple varieties available this weekend and some of them you might not be familiar with.
The first is Crimson Crisp, a crisp red apple with a sweet/tart flavor good for eating.
The next is Jona Gold, a large, crispy redish/orange apple with a sweet flavor.
Then there is Cameo, a hard, red sweet apple similar to a Gala.

The last one I will describe is called Lady in Red, a pinkish red apple which is very hard with a tart flavor.
We will also have Macoun, Granny Smith, Golden Russets and Northern Spy’s, which I described in a previous post.
I think you will enjoy all of them.

Hi everyone
I would like to thank everyone who enjoyed the apples and some beautiful fall weather this past weekend at the orchard.
This weekend looks like another nice one.
We will be open for apple picking and the corn maze from 10-3 at the 34 Charles street parking area.
We will have Granny Smith, Aztec Fuji, Lady in Red, Northern Spy, Cameo and Golden Russets in the trees.
We will also have some really nice Macoun and Jona Gold which I picked from the other orchard and will have available in boxes. I know it’s not quite the same as picking them off the trees yourself but they are the only varieties left in the other orchard and they are too good to leave behind.
Thank you

Hi everyone
It looks like the wind didn’t blow too many apples off the trees so we will have plenty to go around this weekend.
I would like to describe a couple of the antique varieties that will be ready to be picked this weekend.
The first one is Northern Spy, which is a very good baking apple. It is red, firm , with a kind of sweet/tart flavor.
It used to be considered only a cooking apple but they are a really good eating apple too.
The other one is called Golden Russet. It has a rough golden brown skin , is very hard with a sweet , spicy flavor. It has always been my favorite variety.
I encourage you to try a few of them , I think you will enjoy them .
Thank you
