After months of dreaming, planning, building, and waiting, I’m excited to finally say that our new CrossHatch tasting room in downtown Santa Barbara is officially open!

For those who have followed along during this transition, THANK YOU. Your encouragement, patience, and support have meant so much to me.

I’m beyond excited to share this next chapter with you, so stop by, have a glass, and come see the new space! ❤️

With gratitude,

Picnic season in Santa Barbara is here, and while whites and rosés are usually the go-to, a red can be just as good.

Our 2024 Rubia is the perfect fit. Give it a slight chill and it opens up with bright red fruit, a little lift, and a clean, refreshing finish that feels right at home in the sun.

If you’re in the mood for something a little fuller, or that “May Gray” just won’t seem to burn off, the 2023 Mi Versión brings darker fruit, a touch of spice, and more structure, while still being easy to drink outside.

Pack whatever you’re craving, just don’t count out the reds. 🍷

Being a vintner, a mother, a builder, is all part of the same story.

It takes patience, care, and a whole lot of trust. For every mother who has built something with her hands while raising someone with her heart, you know what it means to nurture something over time, to tend to something fragile, and watch it grow into something strong. It’s a rhythm we know well, one we see in both winemaking and motherhood.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the women doing it all, often all at once. 💗💐

If you haven’t been by yet, the outside of our Santa Barbara space has been transformed!

It’s the first glimpse of what you’ll walk up to and where we’ll welcome you in. We’re getting closer, and we’re SO excited to finally open our doors this Monday for a soft opening. Come say hi! We’ll be here from 12-6pm.

We look forward to having you here, glass in hand. 🍷

April showers really showed up last month, and with them came a great mushroom season out at Imagine Family Farm. A few well-timed bouts of rain brought the forest floor back to life and made for some great spring mushroom hunts. 🍄‍🟫🌿

We came across morels, chanterelles, turkey tail, and a few smaller finds, then ended the day with a quick meal of sautéed mushrooms, fresh farm eggs, and Bob’s Well Bread, all enjoyed with CrossHatch wines. 🍳🍷

A little look behind the line 🍷 Bottling day is always a mix of chaos and excitement, and this one from a few weeks back was no exception.

We started with the 2025 Rubia, our Grenache and Mourvèdre co-ferment that continues to be a favorite year after year.

We also put away the 2024 Figure, our Tempranillo, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon co-ferment. The last vintage we made was in 2019, and with only about 10 cases left, now’s the time to grab a few bottles before they’re gone.

To round it out, we also bottled our 2024 Congruence, now featuring Syrah from Ampelos Vineyard, a biodynamic site that brings a fresh perspective to the blend, alongside Cabernet Sauvignon from Sky’s the Limit Vineyard.

A long road ahead for these wines, but it all starts here. 🍾

We’ve been staying busy during the week, painting every inch of our new place. ✨

Little by little, the Santa Barbara space is starting to take shape and feel a little more like us. It’s still a work in progress, but we’re starting to see it come together.

We can’t wait to share more soon!
