SATURDAY MARKET RECAP! ✨

A beautiful beach day at the Seaside Farmers Market — hot, breezy, and busy right up until the crowds headed to the beach! Here are the highlights:

🧀 Poppin’ Pimento → Returning from Texas, Tonja was thrilled to add the last Poppin’ Pimento to her haul for the day. It’s always such a pleasure to see you, Tonja!

🌶️ Jommin’ Jalapeños → Local Brad came early and came prepared — snagging the last candied Jommin’ Jalapeños to pair with his Somethin’ Snappy. Brad knows exactly what he’s doing.

🥜 Gushin’ Goobers → Julie brought several bags of our seasonal boiled Gushin’ Goobers to the market today — and we sold them! Available seasonally from September to October, our boiled goobers are cooked al dente for added texture and soaked for an extended period with our homemade Cajun seasoning to ensure a more intense flavor. These are not your traditional, southern boiled goobers!

A gorgeous brother-sister puppy duo who braved the heat to visit made our morning! 💙🐾

All in all — a fantastic Saturday on 30A. Thank you to every guest who found us at the Seaside Farmers Market this weekend. See you next Saturday, 9AM–1PM! 👨‍🍳

JC's Gourmet's candied Jommin' Jalapeños have found a new home: Beach Happy Cafe is using them to make the pepper jelly in its "Smoked Tuna Dip Crowd Favorite," served with lavash crackers.

Celebrate the holiday weekend 🇺🇸 by visiting Beach Happy in Seagrove, and watch for a second Beach Happy location in Watercolor, planned to open after the New Year!

Happy Labor Day 🇺🇸 weekend from JC’s Gourmet! We may be a little late with this recap — but what a Saturday it was. Here are the sold-out highlights:

🧀 Poppin’ Pimento → Camille and Kevin, visiting from Jacksonville, were thrilled to add the last Poppin’ Pimento to their snack list. A road trip well worth it!

🐔 Cluckin’ Chicken Salad → Kevin from Columbus, Georgia heard about our sold-out Saturdays and came out early to make sure he got his. Mission accomplished!

🌶️ Jommin’ Jalapeños → Also from Georgia - Pat couldn’t stop smiling knowing the last Jommin’ Jalapeños were his. That smile says it all!

🐟 Tailgatin’ Tuna → Local Serena, beloved by many vendors for her beautiful floral arrangements 🌸 at the market, stopped by to claim the last Tailgatin’ Tuna. Great taste runs in the market family!

🐟 Somethin’ Snappy → Local Jeff, a bona fide Snappatonion, brought his son and daughter-in-law along and happily took home the last Somethin’ Snappy.

🥚 Salivatin’ Salade d’Oeufs → Local Lisa said “Yes, please!” to the last of our popular new French Egg Salad recipe.

Saving the best for last: 🍤 Chillin’ Ceviche → None other than Paul, the Seaside Farmers Market Manager himself, stepped up to claim the last shrimp ceviche for his lunch. When the market manager can’t resist, you know it’s good. 🌟

🐾 And to our three favorite four-legged visitors: Buck, the lab who graced us with a beautiful smile at the water bowl; Apoca, the very friendly husky who stopped by for a drink; and local pup Peanut, who was very appreciative of the refreshment - you are always welcome at our tent!

Thank you to every guest who found us for what turned out to be a super busy, absolutely fantastic last Saturday of Chillin' Ceviche season at the farmers market. Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸👨‍🍳

🐔 Cluckin’ Chicken Salad → Word travels fast — even across the pond! Ashley and Bryan made the trip all the way from Australia and knew to come early. They claimed the last Cluckin’ Chicken Salad by 9:30AM. G’day and great taste! 🇦🇺

💛 Manipulatin’ Mustard + 🌶️ Jommin’ Jalapeños → Local Jay did his homework — he pre-ordered ONE OF EVERYTHING we carry! He brought his friend David along to celebrate, and David walked away with the last Manipulatin’ Mustard AND the last Jommin’ Jalapeños.

🧀 Poppin’ Pimento → Local Jan strolled up and happily claimed the last Poppin’ Pimento of the day. Jan makes it look effortless!

🐟 Tailgatin’ Tuna → Local Sandra skipped the photo op but gladly left with the last Tailgatin’ Tuna.

We came. We set up. You showed up — and cleared us out! Here are the sold-out highlights:

🌶️ Jommin' Jalapeños → Returning from Alabama, Sheri came early and knew exactly what she was after — the last Jommin' Jalapeños! John from JC's Gourmet jumped in to celebrate the moment. Welcome back, Sheri!

🐔 Cluckin' Chicken Salad → Locals Amy and Jack stopped by for the last Cluckin' Chicken Salad. These two are always such a bright spot at the market — the best kind of regulars!

🐟 Somethin' Snappy → Colleen and Tyler, from Columbus, Ohio, were more than happy to claim the last Somethin' Snappy Dip. Ohio is always well represented at our tent!

🥚 Salivatin' Salade d’Œufs → Jade wasted no time introducing the last Egg Salad to her fellow Texans. That’s the kind of friend we all need! ✨

🐟 Tailgatin' Tuna → Local Courtney was turning heads with her stylish outfit and cool hair — and her taste in gourmet dips is just as on point. She was stoked to take home the last Tailgatin' Tuna!

🍤 Chillin' Ceviche → Local Judy and her sweet pup, Little Bit, gladly took home the last Shrimp Chillin' Ceviche. A perfect pair with perfect taste!

🧀 Poppin' Pimento → Local Kristi snagged the last Poppin' Pimento and was out the door before we could even get a photo! 😂💨

And a big shoutout to our four-legged visitors this morning — two adorable pups who drained the water bowl and left much more refreshed 🐾💧, plus a beautiful pair of English Springer Spaniels who stopped by to say hello.

Finally — a little market love for fellow vendor Carl, who brought three incredible Seminole pumpkins he’s been growing since April. We had never seen anything like them — absolutely enormous and a true conversation starter.
