This is so true. We took in these pigs when people couldn't keep them. It's tragic to watch them grieve. One female literally starved herself to death. We couldn't convince her to eat in spite of many treats. 😪

Normally, we don't post much political info on our farm page. However, the consequences of DOGE and this administration for the farm economy is frightening. Please read the comments on Amy Klobuchar's original post. Those comments encompass views on both sides of the aisle in an extremely interesting discussion.

We will be contacting our Representative Emmer regarding how he plans on protecting his many farm constituents. Our economy should rest where it belongs constitutionally - Congress! Not the whims of any Administration.
