Thankful to be your mommy ❤️

Celebrating Mother’s Day a little extra this year as a first time mom. But wanted to give a shout outs to all moms, especially to all my fellow business owner moms. Owning a business and being a mom at the same time is no easy feat but you all rock at it. 🫶🏼 I took a graze last week and it was my time leaving Noah to work and as nice as was to jump back into grazes, it definitely was hard being away from him. Can’t imagine what it’ll be like when I go back to work full time. 😭

Hopefully one day I’ll be able to work on my own schedule so that i can be with him more often, but for now, I’ll cherish whatever time we have. ❤️

It’s been a while and some might be wondering… where has Cynthia been? A lot has happened in the last couple of years, but the most recent life changing happening was giving birth to my beautiful baby boy, Noah. 👶🏻🩵 He has changed my life for the better and I can already tell, without a doubt, that one of the most challenging and yet most rewarding experiences in life is to be a parent.

On top of that, we also recently bought a house! When we found out we were having Noah, it became a priority to explore the idea of finding a house and having a bigger space than our condo for our growing family. We wanted a space where Noah (and our future kids) had more room to play, a backyard for our kids to run in as they got older, and also a space where we can more comfortably host our love ones over. House hunting while pregnant was such a wild ride and maybe even more stressful than my pregnancy itself TBH, but after months of searching, we’ve closed on a house! 🏡 We decided to go the route of getting an older house and remodeling it over time to our liking and I am so excited to enter into my house decorating era. 🤭

With all these life changes, some also might be wondering… where does that leave Graze Together? (Continue in comment…)

If you guys didn’t see on my story a couple of days ago, we’re expecting a little bundle of joy! 🧸🕊️

In the last year, I’ve had so many life changes between a new job, marriage, and now preparing to be a momma. In the midst of all that, I’ll admit that it’s been hard figuring out where Graze Together fits in all of that. I’ve been taking such a limited amount of orders because life’s been such a whirlwind but I really do believe what I do with Graze Together brings me joy so I cant find myself letting it go completely.

Going into this next chapter of my life makes me really re-evaluate what I want to do and though I don’t know what the answer is quite yet, I do know that though that sticking with my 9-5 sounds like the logical decision for now, I know it’s not my long term decision. I know that I want to:
-show my daughter or son that it’s ok to pursue non traditional career routes and that it’s ok to lean into creative outlets and that corporate America isn’t everything
-show my son and daughter that I can be happy and financially stable at the same time, and that one of those doesn’t need to be sacrificed
-show my son or daughter that his/her momma IS a boss lady

Whether it’s Graze Together or something else, my dream was always to be my own boss lady one day. I want to be in the position where I can work on my own time, be present for my family AND allow for me to not sacrifice my happiness and I don’t feel like a 9-5 will do that for me.

So here’s to believing myself a little more and taking out the time to really figure out how I want to go about this next chapter of my life.

I also just want to give a shout out to all the mommas out there. Carrying your child and then raising them is not an easy feet and I definitely have a lot to learn.

Also, apologies to everyone that has placed inquiries recently! I’ll get back to you guys soon! First trimester has been kicking my butt!

As always thanks for being here and a part of my story. 🫶🏼

It’s been a while, hasn’t it?! I don’t know about y’all, but work/life balance comes particularly hard for me. Especially when it comes to working a 9-5 and still making time for this small business of mine. Sometimes it’s just easier to just go home and cuddle up on the couch, then it is to find the motivation to do grocery runs, keep up with marketing, doing admin work, and taking on orders after as long week of work. I’ve also been wanting to make time to spend with people I care about too and sometimes it’s all just hard to juggle. I just wish there was more time in the day.

I’ve been super unmotivated to take orders the last few months, but when I got the text to do this one (pictured), I mustered up the motivation to make my schedule work and I’m glad I did. It was great getting back into the element and being reminded of why I love doing this. I’m blessed to have supportive people on here who continue to support me and think of me, and for that, I’m thankful. Thank you for giving me the push and motivation I very much needed to rekindle this passion project.

While my availability is still limited, it’s up to date on my form. I’m primarily taking tables and bulk orders because that’s where my love lies and what makes sense to take on currently, but other options are still available. Orders will be accepted on a case by case basis.

As always, thanks for being here. 🫶🏼

Wow it’s been a long while since I’ve posted. I’ve been pretty quiet on here in general. A lot of changes has happened in 2023 and to say it hasn’t been hard adjusting would be a lie. From a new job, getting married, moving, etc, keeping up with this business has been particularly hard and I’ve had to put it on the back burner for quite some time now. I’ve lost creative motivation and quickly lost that momentum and fire I had when I first started this business. I’ve even contemplated if I wanted to renew my llc going into the new year.

It’s hard because I haven’t figured out how to get out of this rut. Trying to balance multiple jobs is tough and whenever friends/family ask me if I’ll ever run Graze Together full time again, it’s always “I hope one day” but it’s hard imagining when that “one day” will be. Does Graze Together still make me happy? I believe it does and im not ready to let it go, but at the same time, im struggling to rekindle that fire.

Are these normal feelings to have? Or is it a sign to let go? 😕

Hi friends! Remember me?! 😅

It’s been a while since I posted, but would y’all believe it if I said today marks Graze Together’s 2nd anniversary?! With so many life events this past year (the biggest being planning my wedding), I wasn’t able to pour as much love and energy into Graze Together, but I’m still proud of the little wins that did happen with the business in the last year.

Sometimes I contemplate if I should just let this small business of mine go because I was disappointed in myself for not prioritizing this business the last year and not growing it much, but I had to remind myself that it’s okay to prioritize me and that it’s not a competition.

If you guys have been following me for awhile, you would know that I stepped away from running Graze Together full time because I chose to go back to a 9-5. I needed stability as a prepared for the next chapter of my life and running this small business took a small toll on my mental health as well. But nonetheless, it also taught me the importance of boundaries and knowing when and how to say no.

I’m hoping that after the wedding, I’ll be able to find that passion and drive again because I still very much feel like I’m capable of taking Graze Together to the next level. I just need some time to really figure out what level that is.

Year 2 may have been a little rough, but here’s to praying year 3 will be my year. 🤞🏻

Hoping to do a giveaway right after my wedding next month and then get rolling on some holiday bookings! Thank you those who have continued to support me! Graze Together wouldn’t still exist without you 🫶🏼 sorry for being MIA! Graze Together will be back in full run soon!

Oldies that I never got around to sharing — This spread was a custom one that I put together for my best friends bridal shower a couple months ago! I can’t take credit for making everything nor can I say that I can offer everything pictured… But if y’all are ever looking to add the following to your next graze, they’re super easy and doable!
-prosciutto, peach, ricotta crostini (with honey drizzle)
-bruschetta
-salmon and cream cheese bagel bites
-parfait cups
-crudite board

So many options! What would you grab first?!

It’s been a while since I posted so just wanted to come on and share some life/business updates!
1. I recently started a new 8-5 job! It’s quite a transition from what I was doing previously but I’m excited for the growth opportunities as well as ability to pick up on new professional skill sets. With that, I am taking a pause on taking weekday orders for a bit just to better gage my mental well being and just how much I can handle
2. I have my first ever double graze this weekend and while I’m excited for both, I’m also super nervous!! I’ve never done two grazes in one day and one of the grazes this weekend will be my biggest yet (for 160 guest) trying to prep as much as possible leading up to this Saturday. Hoping all goes well! Wish me luck!
3. I’m a little more than 3 months away from my wedding! Juggling Graze Together, my day job, and wedding planning has been a bit crazy but it’s slowly all coming together. One of my customers on here once told me “don’t make your wedding bigger than your marriage” and I try to remind myself of that everyday. As much as I want my wedding day to be super nice and that my guest are having fun, I’m most excited to finally be married to my partner. 💕

Hope you all have been well! I know I don’t post as often anymore, but I’m still here! Feel free to message and say hi! 👋🏻
