🍎🍏🍎 Not one… Not two…. But THREE apple varieties hit the shelves early this week!

🍏Granny Smith- the classic tart green apple, know best for snacking amongst the tart apple loving crowd and baking delicious pies!🥧

🍎Ludacrisp - A newer variety known for its unique sweet-tart flavor and crispness! A cross of a honeycrisp, this apple is great for eating and slicing up on salads! Crisp and very juicy!

🍎Fuji- a classic sweet eating apple! This late season apple is quite hardy and enjoyed by so many!

Apples are coming and going quickly this year! Come visit us in the market, we are happy to help you pick your favorite!

🚫🌧️ HAYRIDE & PUMPKIN PALOOZA UPDATE! 🎃

Unfortunately, we have to cancel tomorrow’s hayrides and Pumpkin Palooza for Sunday, October 11th, due to the hurricane and the weather heading our way!

With all that rain, our fields will be muddy and it just isn’t safe for us to be driving the wagons around. We want everyone to have a fun and safe time out here!

If you were planning to visit, come see us TODAY, Saturday, October 10th, instead! 🎃🍎

We will keep you posted on next weekend’s hayrides as we get a better idea of what the weather is going to do. Thanks for understanding, everyone! 🧡

🍎Our very LAST DAY of U-PICK for the 2026 season is tomorrow, Saturday October 10th! 🍎

An important note! All remaining varieties are limited, we urge anyone looking for something specific to come early in the day!

🚜 We will be offering hayrides to the pumpkin patch for U-pick pumpkins all day!

🎃 We have an additional “Pumpkin Palooza” informal science class for kids for an additional $10 where they will learn all about pumpkins and get to make and take pumpkin experiments and decorations! This starts at 10am- and goes until 4pm!

☕️ We are hosting Roots and Culture Coffee who will be serving up some AMAZING coffee!

🍗 Swine BBQ will be on site for lunch!

🌸🫧 Our flowers and kids activity area will be open as always!

Join us tomorrow October 9th for FREE flower U-Pick! Help us give these flowers a home before the first fall frost sets in! We will have snips for you as well as our kids game area up and running by tomorrow for NEOEA Day! Hope to see you all for a spontaneous fun fall day right here at the orchard! 🌸

🍎The classic Macoun Apples are Picked!🍎

A cross between the McIntosh Apple and the Jersey Black, these apples are juicy, crisp fresh off the tree and rich in flavor!

The first row of trees you can spot from the road, these Macoun apples have been a part of Geig’s Orchard for quite some time! With only a bin or two to pick every year these are a short and special part of our season!

Great for eating, salads and applesauce!

We are ALL PICKED OUT of all varieties EXCEPT Golden Delicious for the weekend!

Next Saturday, 10/10/26, morning we will open two more varieties for our last day of *limited* pick your own apples! Most likely we will have u-pick until early afternoon, once those two varieties of apples are picked we will only be offering our hayrides for U-Pick pumpkins and our u-pick flowers! 🎃🌸

Thank you to all those who came out for pick your own! We really love celebrating apple harvest season with you all!
