🍎 We’re hiring at Geig’s Orchard! 🍑
As we get closer to the season, we’re starting to build our team and are looking for a few good people to join us!
Geig’s is a small, family-run orchard, and the people here truly matter. Many of our team comes back year after year, and we’re looking for folks who want to be part of something steady, take pride in their work, and enjoy being around customers and a good crew!

We’re looking for help in a few areas:
🌿 Weekday and/or weekend market front of house
Helping customers, running the register, and just being a friendly face in the store
📦 Weekday and/or weekend market back of house
Bagging fruit, stocking shelves, keeping things organized behind the scenes
🍓 Cannery (July and August)
Mostly a few weekdays a week, full days helping make pie fillings and pickles
🎟️ Weekend help
Pick your own berries and apples, setting things up, cleaning up, and helping with our Saturday events and Sunday kids classes

Spring can be a little tough in the orchard sometimes! This grapevine is a pretty good example of that. The first primary shoot was damaged during one of our harsh spring frosts, but right beside it you can see the secondary shoot still growing and forming! 🍇

One of the really neat things about grapevines is how resilient they are! When those first buds are lost, the vine can push out secondary buds as a backup. They usually do not produce quite as much fruit as the primary shoots would have, but they still give the vine a chance to grow, recover and produce a crop after a rough start to the season! Nature always seems to find a way to keep going!

Farming comes with a lot of highs and lows this time of year, but little moments like this help keep us hopeful for the season ahead! ☀️

The return of our self serve pop up table!

We set up a little throwback honor system table at the market with all your favorites! You’ll find:
• Fresh pressed apple cider- Goldrush, fireside spice and original!
• Crunchy eating apples: Ludacrisp
• The best baking apples: Granny Smith and Melrose

There’s a QR code for card payments or an old school honor-system cash box!

🍎The Last Day of the 2025 Season is Here!🍎

Today is our last day open for the season until July 2026! We still have PLENTY of cider (all three blends) apples and gifts for you to come shop, taste and enjoy for the next few winter months!

We are here until 6pm today Sunday December 21st!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for one of our best seasons ever! We cannot wait to open our market again fresh for a new year full of so many new ideas this coming July!❤️🍎❤️

Lou would like to remind you not to forget your favorite child- the dog- this holiday season! We have dog cookies, toys and if they are anything like Lou, real apples to stock up on for winter snacking! Pro tip: apples are amazing for dog’s teeth!

Now that we have pressed our last batch of cider for the season, we have a few seconds left over for the animals to enjoy! Stop in while the market is open- they are located inside our shop due to the cold temps outside! Very limited quantities- first come first serve only!

Meet the Geig’s crew!!

Meet Karoline! 👋
Those perfectly straight, neatly packed apples in those bags, the friendly voice answering your questions on the phone, and the smiling face you see at the register- that’s all Karoline! 🍏

What started as an after-school job has grown into five amazing seasons with the Geig’s Orchard crew, and we truly can’t imagine things running without her. Karoline brings hard work, kindness, and an eye for detail to everything she does! And she does A LOT around here!

When she’s not hustling here at the orchard, you’ll probably find her studying hard for college, growing her own sunflowers and gourds or baking up some delicious treats! 🍪🌻
