Pancake breakfast this morning

Get some tasty vittles at the Bear Creek Volunteer Fire Department pancake feed this Saturday morning.

They're grilling up bacon and hotcakes. There's fruit, coffee, juice and plenty of Log Cabin, Mrs. Butterworth's and an elusive jug or two of actual Maple Syrup.

UPDATE: USCG VHF Ch 16 distress listening watch has been restored.

The Coast Guard does not have a Channel 16 distress listening watch in the following areas: Seward, Southwestern PWS, Resurrection Bay, and Blying Sound. Mariners are requested to relay distress calls in these areas to the nearest Coast Guard unit or contact Coast Guard Sector Western Alaska and U.S. Arctic at (866) 396-1361.
