🚀 The 18,000-Plant Milestone: True Vertical vs. Indoor Racks In a 22' x 120' greenhouse, the architecture of your farm determines your profit. Many are moving toward "Indoor Vertical" by stacking horizontal LED racks in a building, but the math tells a different story. At 180 Pipe, we’ve engine...

A powerhouse day at the facility! 🚀

We were honored to host both the Arkansas Agricultural Extension Service and the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) today to discuss the future of high-efficiency farming.

A major highlight of the visit was discussing the ongoing research at UAM. We took a deep dive into how 180 Pipe Technology is being used for:

Potato Research: Optimizing growth cycles and yields in a vertical setup.

Rice Research: Exploring innovative, water-saving methods for a crop that is vital to Arkansas’s economy.

By eliminating "dead space" in heating and cooling and maximizing resource utilization, we’re proving that vertical farming can handle much more than just leafy greens. We are scaling the staples of the global food supply—sustainably.

Radical Collaboration: Solving Arkansas Food Insecurity via Vertical Greenhouses

Arkansas is paralyzed by a paradox: we are a global agricultural leader, yet our own neighbors face the highest rates of food insecurity in the nation. This isn't just a failure of resources; it’s a failure of architecture and alignment. We have the solution—180-Pipe vertical greenhouse systems—but technology alone is just plastic and metal. To feed our communities, we need to break the traditional mindset and embrace Radical Collaboration.

The Systemic Trap: Talk vs. Action

For too long, the traditional mindset has prioritized "awareness" over "infrastructure." Countless projects are awarded significant funding simply to talk about the issue, publish reports, and hold meetings. Yet, very few projects are awarded the funding required to actually solve the problem.

If we continue with this mindset—funding the conversation instead of the solution—we will remain in a state of perpetual crisis. Meanwhile, as traditional supply chains falter and land become less viable, food prices will continue to rise, leaving our most vulnerable even further behind. We must stop paying for the description of the problem and start paying for the solution.

A Global Proof of Concept

This is more than an Arkansas initiative; this is a global proof of concept. By solving the food crisis here, in the heart of the American South, we are creating a blueprint to be followed around the world. This model proves that high-tech, high-density nutrition can be deployed anywhere on Earth where people are hungry. Arkansas is the laboratory; the results will be universal.

The Call for Radical Collaboration

A 180-pipe system is only as strong as the network that supports it. It takes each one of us—working together across sectors—to break away from the traditional mindset.

Philanthropy & Capital: We need "seed" funding that treats food as permanent infrastructure, not a temporary handout.

Legacy Farmers: We need generational wisdom to mentor the next wave of high-tech urban growers.

Community Anchors: We look forward to your support in any way you can offer it.

Whether it is providing land, logistical assistance, or local trust, every contribution makes these greenhouses a reality.

Academic Innovators: We need our universities to provide the data that turns a single pilot into a global standard.

The Vision

We aren't just building greenhouses; we are building Food Sovereignty. By aligning tech, talent, and territory, we transform from a state of scarcity to a model of global abundance. We value every form of support and look forward to working alongside you to secure our food future.

The pipes are ready. The greenhouses are waiting. We need your support to finally solve this!

Fresh, pesticide-free produce in January? It’s possible. 🥬

The biggest challenge to eating healthy in the New Year is usually the season. Depending on where you live, "fresh" produce often has to travel thousands of miles to reach your plate.

This year, we are changing the game by focusing on year-round, local production.

By using the 180 Pipe vertical farming system, we are able to grow natural, pesticide-free greens regardless of the weather outside. Here is why this is a massive win for 2026 starting in Arkansas:

Zero Miles: The food travels from the pipe to the plate in seconds.

Total Control: No pesticides or harsh chemicals are needed when you control the environment.

Always in Season: Growing vertically means it’s always harvest time, no matter the location or the climate.

Investing in your health doesn't have to depend on the calendar. It’s about using the right tools to stay consistent.

How are you keeping your nutrition on track this winter? 👇

Exciting news out of Jacksonville! A recent feature by KATV highlights the incredible work being done at Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School, where students in the Jr. MANRRS club are growing more than just food—they’re growing a community.

A key driver of this success is the integration of the 180 Pipe system. This "smart agriculture" technology is revolutionizing how schools approach both technology and knowledge in the classroom.

It’s inspiring to see how local innovation like 180 Pipe is equipping the next generation with the tools they need to solve real-world problems.
