🎄 A Christmas Note from Jolly Wally’s 🎄

This season, we just want to pause and say how grateful we are for the support our little shop on the Kenai has received. It’s meant more to our family than we can properly put into words.

In honor of our grandfather, Jolly Wally, we’d like to give something back in a small but meaningful way.

Today, the first five people who call us between 12–4pm Alaska time can help us send a free box of halibut to a family in need they know. We’ll just need a shipping address, and we’ll send it out on Monday, December 22.

This is simply our way of sharing Alaska, honoring Grandpa Wally’s spirit, and paying forward the kindness we’ve been shown.

Thank you for being part of our story, and wishing you and yours a warm, peaceful Christmas. ❤️🐟

Jolly Wally’s now offers discounted shipping labels you can purchase directly from us — and we’ll email the label right to you for easy printing.
You could potentially save hundreds of dollars compared to retail FedEx rates.

Here’s how it works:

• 📦 Customer provides their own packaging — insulated styrofoam cooler with a cardboard outer (available at Fred Meyer, Walmart, Safeway, etc.)
• ❄️ Fish must be fully frozen and packed well to stay cold for up to 48 hours
• 🚚 Shipping service: Priority Next Day Delivery
• 📅 Ship only on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday to avoid weekend holds
• 🏪 Drop-off: Take your labeled box to any FedEx location before 11:00 AM on the day of shipment
• ⚠️ We are not liable for carrier delays due to weather or unforeseen circumstances

Our dry-aged, deep-fried turkey turned out absolutely perfect. Golden, crispy skin… crazy juicy inside… and flavor for days. Dry-aging really does make a difference — this bird didn’t stand a chance. 🦃🔥
Safe to say this will NOT be the last time we do it this way!

🦃🍁 Happy Thanksgiving from Jolly Wally’s Seafoods 🍁🦃

This year, our hearts are fuller than a July fish box.

We’re feeling incredibly blessed for the people who stand with us through every wild sockeye run, every curveball the season throws, and every long day that turns into an even longer night. Our employees, our friends, our lodges outfitters, and customers and this one-of-a-kind Alaska community- you’ve become our second family.

Through the chaos, the laughter, the problem-solving, and the occasional “did that really just happen?” moment, we grew closer as a team. The challenges didn’t break us, they tightened us up like a perfectly wrapped fillet in the vacuum sealer.

To everyone who trusted us with your catch, supported our small Soldotna business, or simply cheered us on: thank you. You’re the reason we get to do what we love, in the place we love, surrounded by people who make even the toughest seasons worth it.

Our turkeys just wrapped up 5 days in the “meat spa” — dry-aged, pampered, and now chillin’ (literally) in the freezer until Thanksgiving. 🦃❄️

They’ve had better treatment than most of us this week — steady temps, perfect airflow, and zero stress. 😂
If they taste half as good as they look, we’re in for one epic holiday dinner!

Who else is already dreaming of gravy, stuffing, and that post-dinner nap?
