📣 OCTOBER 17TH VENDOR FAIR — VENDOR UPDATE! 📣

Hey y’all! We are getting everything lined up for our October 17th Vendor Fair at Hickory Corner Farms, and we need to get our vendor list finalized!

We currently have 14 vendors who have told us they are coming but have NOT yet paid for their spot.

👉 If your vendor fee is not paid, or you have not spoken directly with the store or messaged our page by SEPTEMBER 15TH, we will open your spot back up to another vendor.

If you have already paid, please give the store a call just to confirm so we can double-check our records and make sure our list is 100% correct. We definitely don’t want to accidentally leave anyone off!

We are so excited for October 17th and can’t wait to have a great day full of local vendors, shopping, and fall fun! 🍂🎃🛍️

This is amazing read! Our area is so blessed to have so many wonderful places to get great food!

The truth: we handed the keys to our food systems over a long time ago. Someone else is driving the car, and has been for a long time.

Whitt's Place: Purchase a beef. Go in with your neighbors. Buy a garage freezer. The same man running the beef operation is the same man you’ll talk to selling meats in the store. Quality control doesn’t get much better than that. (Did you know their meat is antibiotic + vaccine free!?)

Hillfolk TN: this one is special. A local grocer, putting locally made products in one convenient place. Bringing in dry goods that are the best possible, REAL FOOD options for those products we cannot source locally.

Another truth: The US has been importing beef…practically forever.

BUT, do you know who’s not importing beef? Your local farmer.

Bottom line: you can make the choice to take back the keys. Feels overwhelming? Pick a category to start: meat, dairy, produce, breads. Use your purchasing power to prioritize locally grown food, produced ethically by your neighbors. By doing this, not only are you “taking back the keys” to your families food, but you are keeping your money circulating right here in your county.
