Switching things up this year! 🐑🍂 As much as we love lambing in freezing temperatures (😂🥶), we thought we’d do something a little crazy and try fall lambing instead! 🍁

Check out this cutie born Monday! 😍💕

🎟️ Today is the final day! ⏰

After a week filled with pets and back rubs, these Katahdin sheep are ready to head home and get back to grazing the pastures they love!

We hope everyone enjoyed meeting this hairy bunch and can’t wait to see you again next year! 🎪

In the meantime, if you have any questions about starting your own flock or looking to fill that freezer, reach out and we’d be happy to help!

Ever wonder what is so special about 4-H? It is so much more than a cute animal, pretty ribbons and show day.

It’s the early mornings, late nights, chores, learning as you go, growing as you go, and showing up even when things don’t go as planned.

We’ve loved getting to support our niece and her lambs this year 🐑💜 Proud of you, kid!

💚🍀 If you’re able to also show some support, please head over to her Final Drive page and show her some love!

Such an exhausting day but well worth the time that it has taken to get here!

On cloud nine after the 4-H Junior Fair! ☁️✨🍀

For starters, we are beyond proud of our niece! She absolutely killed it, earning:

🐑🥉3rd Place Intermediate Showmanship
🐑🏅 9th Place Overall Showmanship
🐑🏅4th Place WFX

Then, she caught the judge’s eye and brought home 🥈Reserve Champion Breeding Ewe 🥈 in a strong 💪 field of wether-type ewes. The judge especially recognized her ewe’s sound structure and overall quality.

To make the win even sweeter, it was with a ewe bred by us and born right here on our farm! 🤩 We couldn’t be prouder of this pair and all the hard work that went into this accomplishment! 🍀
