In addition to raising cattle and chickens, we also do a lot of food preservation here on the farm. Most of the vegetables we put up are grown in our garden, and the fruits from local farms.

Deer are not bothered by farm equipment, generally speaking… she is probably more upset that she doesn’t have access to the whole field while he mows!! 😂

Good Morning!! Another beautiful sunrise!! Cattle are up and moving and will be ready for breakfast soon.

Coffee with the cattle!! I haven’t done this in awhile and it was the perfect morning to do so. Waggy ( #75) let me give him all the head scratches he wanted. This time of day is always so quiet and peaceful. Seems I need to do this more often.

And for our friends up north in the beautiful state of Michigan, yes that is a cup from the Good Hart General Store when we visited the Tunnel of Trees.

I’m in the mood for an egg yolk iced coffee. I usually use half/half but needed to use up some of this whipping cream. I think it is better with a combo of whole milk and whipping cream. Either way, it is Delicious!!! 😋
