This is new. We were wondering how long it would take before they would roost in the rafters of their chicken run. These 4 hens were introduced to the original flock and it only took them two weeks to find the rafters. Never a dull moment around here. 😂

Waggy ( #75) is finishing in a very impressive fashion! For those of you who don’t know, Waggy has a strong influence of Waygu with Black Angus cross and he is on a 3+ pounds daily rate of gain!!
We still have 1/4 beef available for him if interested and he goes to butcher this fall!

We love that it is finally dry enough that our chickens can enjoy foraging in the cow paddock and pasture area.

What a blessing it is to see dryer ground! We will be over-seeding the pastures with seed prior to the rain this weekend.
