The shelves are buzzing with golden gifts from the bees.... Cherry Lane Farm honey, Bluecorn beeswax candles, and some delightfully buzzy bling that pays tribute to our delicately-winged friends. 🐝

A little loofah magic, a few curious young bee-watchers, and a whole lot of good energy around the farm. 🐝🌿
Uncle Dean brought the loofahs, the kids brought the curiosity, and the bees put on their usual behind-the-glass show. Needless to say, Uncle Dean was pretty pleased with how the day unfolded.
The shop had plenty of visitors too, and quite a few folks headed home with a little something sweet (or otherwise tempting) from the shelves — and the most beautiful free bonus of all, a fresh bouquet from Tom in a compostable bag. 💐

Days like this are exactly why we love opening the farm up and sharing a little piece of it with you.

Ever wonder how a loofah gets from the garden to your shower? 🌱
Come see for yourself! Uncle Dean is doing a loofah demo here at the farm this Saturday, August 29, from 11 AM–1 PM.
He’ll show us how these funny-looking vines grow and need the honey bees, how the loofahs are harvested, and what happens between the garden and that natural scrubber sitting in your bathroom.
A little farm education, a little hands-on fun, and probably a few things you didn’t know about loofahs.
Come on out and see what Uncle Dean has been growing!

York County Beekeepers Association will be hosting their monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 25th - meetings are open to the public so please join us! This month we will have multiple presenters from within our membership introducing themselves and what they do with their bees!

Turned out to be a beautiful weekend with the weather, the company we keep & the kindness that comes through the door.

💐And a special thank you to Tom, who brings the most beautiful fresh bouquets for everyone. Such a ginormous gesture, and such a lovely way to brighten the weekend.

A huge thank you hug for the people who walk through our door and make this little place what it is. We hope you enjoy your time here on the farm.
