New core release from Bulleit, Bulleit '87 is a "BouRye", Shelbyville KY Bourbon blended with Lawrenceburg IN Rye, finished with toasted American and toasted French Oak staves for 4 to 6 weeks. Bring a sweet-spice cake like character with a balanced oak finish. Unlike regular Bulleit products designed for cocktails, this is perfectly fine for low proof(90pf) sippin' whiskey. Get some when this way.

What is Palo Cortado Sherry?
Palo Cortado is often called the "happy accident" of the sherry world—combining the elegant, aromatic nose of an Amontillado with the rich, full-bodied weight of an Oloroso.

* The Accidental Evolution: Sherry starts its maturation under a protective layer of yeast called flor (creating light, crisp styles like Fino). Occasionally, a barrel naturally loses its layer of flor earlier than expected.

* The Shift in Style: When the flor dies off unexpectedly, oxygen hits the wine, shifting its aging process from biological to oxidative.

* The Mark (Palo Cortado): Cellar masters mark the barrel with a cross ("cortado") over the original line ("palo") to signify this rare, hybrid transformation.

* The Flavor Impact: Because less than 1% to 2% of sherry naturally becomes Palo Cortado, casks sourced from this wine are extremely prized. They impart a delicate balance of bright citrus peel, toasted nuts, rich dried fruits, cinnamon spice, and a long, savory-sweet oak finish to whisky.

Two absolute heavyweights just hit the shelves!

Lochs of Jura Barrel Finish — A blend of straight whiskies(11yr IN Bourbon, 10yr IN 95/5 Rye, 12yr KY Bourbon) finished for 32 months in single malt Scotch whisky barrels from Isle of Jura. The Scotch barrels breakdown: 84% ex-Bourbon and 16% ex-Sherry casks. The official tasting notes: "Vanilla crème with blackberry compote and mint is surrounded by toasted oak and cigar box. This leads to a palate of fresh spearmint, caramel, and light cinnamon spice. The fruit-forward sherry notes round out a beautifully complex finish." Bottled at 104 proof.

2026 Discovery: a bespoke blend of 10 Indiana Bourbon, 11yr & 7yr KY Bourbons, finished in Garryana oak barrels that are hand toasted for 3 hours by Oregon Barrel Works. The official tasting notes: "Layers of decadent, toasted oak are supported by burnt sugar and baked apple cobbler.
