Eight years ago today, Chef Lisa opened the doors to Le Torte Dolci ❤️

At the time, it was just a small family-run bakery built with a lot of hard work, very little sleep, and honestly…blind faith.

She baked through the night, helped build, moved equipment, painted walls, and somehow still found the energy to create pastries for opening day.

Over the years, that little bakery grew into what is now Torte & Iron Café.

Looking back through these photos today is honestly pretty emotional.

From construction dust and empty walls… to an incredible team and a café full of life.

To everyone who has supported Chef Lisa and our family over the last 8 years: thank you ❤️

You helped make this dream possible.

Just a quick heads up for everyone ❤️

Torte & Iron Café will be closed Sunday, May 24th over the holiday weekend as we give our team a chance to rest and reset after a very busy stretch.

We’ll be back to normal hours Tuesday and look forward to seeing everyone then!
