We now have a Little Library at the stand! 🏡💚

You’ll find two little blue houses currently located near the hanging baskets and bouncy ball machine. (The location may change to the post of the Crooked Tree Farm sign, so if you don’t see them, make sure to check that spot too!)

📖 The larger library is for adult books
📚 The smaller library is for children’s books

Here’s how it works:

📕 Take a Book: If you see a book you’d like to read, take it and enjoy! You’re welcome to keep it.

📗 Leave a Book: When you’re finished, you can return it, pass it along to a friend, or bring another book to help keep the library stocked for the next reader.

❤️ No Obligation: You do not have to leave a book in order to take one — although contributions are always appreciated and help keep the library full!

Courtney has always been an avid reader and thought this would be the perfect addition to our stand. She’ll be the one keeping it clean, organized, and making sure there’s a steady supply of books available. 📚🌿

🥩 What a Saturday it was at Crooked Tree Farm! 🥩

We are so incredibly grateful for the turnout we had for our very first pit beef day! The parking lot was overflowing into the grass all day long, and it kept everyone working the stand and pit beef busy from start to finish. We truly did not expect such an amazing response!

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported us, and was patient with us as we tried something new. This was our first “trial run” doing pit beef at the stand, and we appreciate all of the feedback we’ve received — whether it was shared with us in person or in the comments. Your kind words and encouragement truly mean the world to us. ❤️

Your support helps us continue to grow, learn, and figure out how we can better serve our community (and all of those who travel from near and far to visit us!).

So we have to ask… should we do another pit beef sale in the future? 🤔

We’re excited to announce that our Maryland Line stand will be opening up this weekend! 🎉

Our hours will be:
Friday: 11am–6pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10am–5pm

We can’t wait to open up our second location and welcome everyone in!

🥩🔥 Today is the day for pit beef at Crooked Tree Farm! 🔥🥩

Stop in starting at 11 AM and enjoy a delicious pit beef, pit ham or pit turkey sandwich! We’d love for you to hang out and enjoy your meal at our picnic tables with umbrellas over by the donkey pasture. ☀️

While you’re here, take some time to visit the animals and maybe even give them a few pre-approved snacks from the stand! 🐐🐷 Please remember these snacks are only for the goats and pig — our donkeys appreciate the love, but they have their own treats and diets. 😊

Finish up your visit by grabbing some of our farm-fresh produce to take home with you! 🍓🌽🥒 We’ll be keeping the stand stocked throughout the day.

We have a stand full of delicious goodies today! Stop by and grab some of your favorites — we have cantaloupe, watermelon, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, asparagus, mushrooms, cucumbers, onions, green beans, cherries and more available! 🥒🍒🫐

🌽 Sweet corn is coming Friday!
This sweet corn will be coming from the Eastern Shore until our own sweet corn is ready. We’ll be sure to post as soon as it arrives Friday afternoon!

And we have some exciting news for Saturday… 🥪🔥

We have plenty of fresh-picked quarts available at the stand today and they’re waiting for you. We moved them inside to protect them from the rain. Stop by and grab some sweet, local strawberries to brighten up this rainy day!

🍓 Pick Your Own Strawberry Update 🍓

Thank you to everyone who came out for Pick Your Own strawberries this weekend! We had a very successful few days in the patch and truly appreciate all of the support.

As a result, our Pick Your Own strawberry fields will be closed for the remainder of today and will remain closed until Thursday morning. This short break will give the field some time to recover and allow more berries to ripen.

Don’t worry—we will still have pre-picked strawberries available at the stand while the fields are closed!

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the patch on Thursday morning. Thank you for your understanding and continued support! 🍓🌱🚜
