🐐🐷 Pasture Update 🫏🌱
Our animal enclosure looks a little different this year! We’ve expanded the fenced-in area to make room for our new miniature donkeys and to give our goats more space to graze and explore.
To make this expansion work best for all of our animals, we created a smaller section within the pasture for Frankie, our pig.
Frankie is a rooter, which means he uses his snout to dig and push dirt around while searching for food, cooling off, or just exploring. Because of this — and because all of our other pasture animals are grazers — Frankie has his own area toward the back of the fence where he can root and dig as much as he wants without destroying all of the grass. 🐽
The rest of the animals can still hop over the shorter fencing into his section to snack on grass or hang out with him whenever they choose. ❤️
So if you stop by and don’t see Frankie with the others, don't worry, he's still here! Feel free to walk between the greenhouse and the pasture fence to go visit him! He’s always happy to see visitors (especially if snacks are involved 😉).
