Apparently hay delivery wasn’t fast enough…

Flap & Lefty decided there was absolutely NO reason to wait for their hay to make it from the golf cart to the pasture. Why bother with delivery when you can just help yourself straight from the back? 🤣🌾

We’re pretty sure they’d give Crooked Tree Farm’s hay delivery service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for freshness… but maybe ⭐️⭐️ for speed. 😂

When one job ends, another begins! 🪺💙

This tomato plant may have reached the end of its production for us, but apparently the birds decided it still had plenty of life left in it! 😂

Tucked among the leaves, we found this sweet little nest complete with beautiful blue, brown-speckled eggs. 🥹🐦

So while there may not be many more tomatoes coming from this specific plant, it looks like it’s growing something a little different now! 💙🪺

Just one of those little surprises that makes farm life so special. 🌱❤️

🍑 Peaches are almost done for the season! Once our current stock is gone, we won’t be getting any more until next year — so if you’ve been wanting some, today is a good day to stock up!

Our little sunflower patch is blooming, and we now have fresh-cut sunflowers available for $2 per stem! 🌻

And these flowers are extra special because they were grown by the kids! 🥹💕

As some of you may know, many of the fresh-cut flower bouquets we’ve had at the stand this year have been grown, cut, and put together by our girls themselves. They’ve put so much time and excitement into their flowers, and you should see how absolutely overjoyed they are every time someone purchases one of their beautiful creations! 🥰🌸

The sunflowers will be cut fresh upon request, right from their little sunflower patch, so you can take them home as fresh as can be! ✂️🌻

We’ve discovered that Flap & Lefty are BIG fans of watermelon and cantaloupe—especially when the snacks technically belong to someone else. 🤣

Lately, someone keeps opening the gate to Frankie’s pen and letting him loose into the whole pasture. We haven’t figured out whether the culprits are the goats or the donkeys, but Flap & Lefty certainly aren’t complaining! 😂

The second Frankie’s gate is open, these two take full advantage of the opportunity to sneak into his pen and help themselves to his stash of watermelon and cantaloupe rinds! 🍉🍈

So while Frankie is out enjoying his unexpected freedom, the donkeys are apparently running a coordinated snack heist behind his back. 🫏🫏🐷😂

We’re still investigating who keeps opening the gate…but at this point, Flap & Lefty definitely have a motive. 👀🤣

Two lucky winners from our ticket drawing will take home a Crooked Tree Farm produce basket packed with:

🌽 1 dozen ears of corn
🍈 1 Sugar Cube cantaloupe
🍑 2 peaches
🫑 3 bell peppers
🍅 1 tomato
🍅 Cherry tomatoes
🍎 2 apples
🥦 1 head of broccoli
👕 PLUS a Crooked Tree Farm T-shirt! (Color may vary.)

And there’s still time to get your name in the drawing!

🎟️ From NOW through Friday, between 10AM–5PM, you’ll earn a ticket for every full $15 spent at the stand.

Spend $15 = 1 ticket
Spend $30 = 2 tickets
Spend $45 = 3 tickets
…and so on!

For each one you earn, you’ll receive a matching pair of tickets:

🧺 One ticket goes into the drawing for your chance to win a produce basket.

🍟 The other is your FREE FRY ticket to bring back Saturday!

Your Free Fry ticket can be redeemed Saturday with the purchase of a Pit Beef, Pit Ham, or Pit Turkey sandwich.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: The Free Fry ticket CANNOT be redeemed by itself. A sandwich MUST be purchased in order to receive the free fries.

This Saturday, The Farm Pit Crew will be back at Crooked Tree Farm serving up:

🔥 Pit Beef
🔥 Pit Ham
🔥 Pit Turkey
🍟 French Fries
🍋 Fresh-Squeezed Lemonade

We’ll start serving at 11AM Saturday and continue until SOLD OUT!

But this week, we’re making things a little more fun… 👀

🎟️ SHOP THE STAND WEDNESDAY–FRIDAY & EARN FREE FRY TICKETS! 🎟️

From Wednesday through Friday evening, every $15 spent in one purchase at the farm stand earns you ONE ticket for a FREE French fry on Saturday!

So:
• Spend $15 = 1 ticket
• Spend $30 = 2 tickets
• Spend $45 = 3 tickets
…and so on!

Please note: the amount must reach the next full $15 increment. For example, a $25 purchase earns 1 ticket, while a $30 purchase earns 2.

⏰ Tickets can ONLY be earned between 10AM–5PM Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, while the stand is staffed. Tickets will not be available during self-serve hours.

When you receive your tickets, you’ll get a matching pair:

🎟️ Write your NAME on the back of the matching drawing ticket and place it in the jar at the checkout counter.

🍟 KEEP the ticket marked “FREE FRY” or “FF” — you’ll need to bring that one back Saturday!

🍟 HOW TO REDEEM YOUR FREE FRIES:

Free Fry tickets are valid Saturday beginning at 11AM until sold out and may only be redeemed with the purchase of a Pit Crew sandwich.

Your Free Fry ticket MUST be presented to the cashier at the time you purchase your sandwich, and the ticket will be collected when redeemed.

And there’s another reason you’ll want to make sure your name goes in that jar… 👀👇

🎉 EVERY MATCHING TICKET WILL ALSO BE ENTERED INTO A DRAWING FOR A FREE PRODUCE BASKET! 🎉

That means even if you earn a ticket but can’t make it Saturday for a sandwich — although we’d really love to see you! 😉 — you can still win the produce basket!

🧺 More details about the basket will be announced later today!

🏆 There will be TWO winners drawn Saturday evening by 6PM and posted right here on our page. Each will receive their own basket!

The winners will have until Monday at 12PM to contact us and arrange pickup.

So come stock up on produce Wednesday through Friday, earn those tickets, and then come hungry Saturday! 🥪🍟🍋
