One last open Garden Day of the Season! Tomorrow we will be harvesting grapes for Jelly and experimenting with dyeing some fabric with them too. Our cheesecloth from last week was the prettiest light blue. Hope to see you!

I'm working on labeling my First Aid Salve for a restock later this week.

Sometimes I get embarrassed that my labels are imperfect, which they definitely are this round, but it makes me happy to know that I am able to make them with recycled paper and minimal supplies. The paper was someone's old letterhead that I found at the dump swap shop. I stamp my labels on the paper and use a little bit of glue to hold them on. The jars will easily come clean and the labels are compostable. Not to mention that I am able to compost all of the paper scraps as well.

I'm always happy to refill old jars at a discount!

I had big dreams of taking my kids into the city today but neither wanted to hang out with me. I'll be around the garden and cleaning the house if anyone wants to stop by and say hi!

Today I'm harvesting elderflower, red clover, mugwort, mint, self heal and whatever else I find along the way

Just a reminder that the Itching Ally Salve I make is great for bug bites. I've had to use it everywhere lately! It helped immensely last night. I only share what I have used and tested for myself and my family. Enjoy the summer!

I'm finishing preparations for the The New Hampshire Renaissance Faire today. We had more herbs than I thought, but still limited stock as the season is still young. We will have make and take pressed flower keychains, lavender goodies, and other herbal remedies and salves all locally grown. If I have enough time we will even have some tea tasting (Iced, it's supposed to be a warm weekend!) I can't wait to see everyone!!

The drying shed is cleaned and back in business! Today's harvest included a few spring greens, Bee balm, Dandelion, Wild Carrot, Catnip, Stinging nettles and Raspberry leaves.

I'm a little nervous because stock is limited from last season and we will be at the NH Renaissance Festival in 2 Weeks. We will make it a fun stop either way, so come by and see us!

Starting Tuesday, I'll be hosting open farm day again, from 9-230, and after 4 (I have to pick up my kid!)

This is my day to stay home and work on homesteading projects and a day I am happy to have whoever wants to drop by!

I'm still working on planning out the garden and am happy to share a couple of plots if anyone wants to claim them before I fill them or see what nature fills them with.

We are working on a new duck coop and creating a path to the woods.

As the seasons progress we will have herbs to share and other fun outdoor projects.

My goal is to build an environment to share and enjoy together.
