Smith Ridge, set at the top of Taylor Hill in Strong, Maine, was once the home of a large farmhouse. The farmhouse burned down decades ago, and the property was passed on. A new house was built, and only one of the original structures remains. The new owners planted apple, pear, and cherry trees, walnut and chestnut trees, red and black raspberries, grapes and more. Steve and Ronica Smith bought t

he property in 2016 with the dream of bringing the farm back to life. The home quickly became a homestead, and the homestead is now becoming a small farm.

Unfortunately the spring weather wasn't kind to the blueberries, and the last couple weeks weren't quite enough to help them bounce back.

All the berries ripened at once, which means they'll all go at once too.

The field is FULL of berries right now. Come get them while they last. Sadly we will close for the season after Sunday, August 6.
