We are so excited to welcome our second son to our beautifully chaotic family♥️ thank you to everyone for your patience while we took the last two weeks to adjust to becoming a family of four. I will be “back in the office” tomorrow to answer messages and emails and comments.

1. Our September steer is completely sold out. If you did not place a preorder off our September steer, we will not have any extra cuts to sell. We are taking preorders for our October steer, preorders are filled by when the preorder was taken. The sooner you place it, the higher the chance you’ll get your pick of cuts. We cannot guarantee the fulfillment of preorders but we will try our best.

2. Our bulk (quarter/half/wholes) are filling up FAST. We are currently taking deposits for our FEBRUARY steer. I have a half available still (or two quarters). Placing a deposit is the only way to get on the list. I have an entire bulk FAQ post if you have questions, please check it out!

Our big man Milton is back at the ranch🩵
Aptly named due to throwing chocolate calves, a herd is only as good as its sire. This big man gets us compliments everywhere he goes; he is big, gets the job done, docile enough to live in a one strand electric fence, pleasant enough to pet like a dog (if you bring him treats), but protective that you don’t want to be a yote between him and his ladies. He was off gallivanting with another herd on a 60 day lease but he is home and we are so happy.

So good news and bad news.
Good news, we got our steer back today and the beef looks *chefs kiss*. Our butcher packed 512 pounds of beef into the back of my car.
Bad news, you guys sold us out again with your preorders🤯 500 POUNDS OF BEEF SOLD BEFORE WE EVEN HAD IT IN HAND.
I have bits and pieces left: 1 chuck, 3 packs of NY strips (6 steaks total), and 1 pack of burgers. All of these extra cuts will go to D’s Creations, LLC in Depew.
Other than that, our next steer goes on October 14th, so we will be restocked at the end of October. Send a message if you’d like to get on the preorder list!

In a world that runs on instant gratification, automated customer service, and companies backed by hundreds of employees, it’s easy to forget what’s happening behind the scenes of the local food on your table.
According to the USDA Census of Agriculture, family-owned farms make up about 95% of all U.S. farms, and roughly 85% are classified as small family farms.
Behind those numbers, it often looks a lot like this: just two people.
Here on our ranch, it’s the two of us running every single moving part. That means we aren't just managing the beef side and coordinating deliveries. We’re also out on the land caring for the soil, tending to the animals day in and day out, and raising our family.
Sometimes, that means a message sits a little longer, an email doesn't get answered right away, or the phone rings straight to voicemail because we’re knee-deep in chores or out checking pastures.
We pour our hearts into this life and into providing the best quality we possibly can for our customers. We are learning and growing every single day, and we are so deeply grateful for your support. Have a little grace with us when we're slow to reply, because we're just a family of two doing our absolute best.
