Today (7/31/2026) is the last day we will be open for U-Pick this year.

It's been another great season and we want to thank you all for coming out this year!

We're changing over to self-service U-Pick tomorrow (7/27).

We have good berries on the far west row (by the tall hedge) and the upper part of the field (by the tall trees).

A scale will be in front of the stand, payment drop box (cash only) is beside the stand. We'll also take Venmo payments to Sublimity Blueberries.

$2.00 per lb.

There will also be a few buckets for picking under the table if you forget your own. Please bring your own containers to take your berries home.

Honey

Molasses

Bourbon

Ginger

Salt

Allspice

Cinnamon

Chilli powder

If it works out I'll get specific. Considered some garlic and/or onion powder, just not in this batch...

It's looking like this will be the last week of blueberry season here at Sublimity Blueberries. We'll have the stand open 8 to 8 from now through Sunday and will re-evaluate after that.

It's been another great season and I wish to thank everyone for coming out to pick. We hope you have enjoyed your time here the year as much as we have!

The field and stand are open from 8am to 8pm, but we highly recommend you come out early in the day and be finished picking by midday during this heatwave.

Didn't get tickets to the Santiam Stampede? That's ok, you can hear it from the blueberry field just fine.

We have a regular customer named Dave who comes by the blueberry stand at least 4 days a week. He shows up around 3:30 pm, grabs a bucket, ties on his "cordage" and we chat for a bit. He tells me about the tomatoes and strawberries in his garden and sometimes talks about his days as a young man growing up in California.

He spent some time as a commercial diver harvesting Abolone, Sea Urchins and Sea Cucumber. He also tells me about his days picking produce in Mendocino County.

Then he goes out in the field, finds the right blueberry bush and methodically picks it clean. Starting at the top, kneeling down to pick the middle, then finally sitting on the ground to get the bottom ones. He comes back to the stand a couple hours later with 7-9 lbs of blueberries.

Then we get into serious discussions about compost, soil types, fertilizer, pollination, miccochorizal fungi, single organism tree groves (like Aspens in Colorado and Redwood/ Sequoias in California), super foods, antioxidants, etc

He's a fascinating person. I hope he gets as much out of his time in the field as I get chatting with him. If you're out here during the evening pick a run across a tall (6'3 ish) guy with a white beard, say hi, then be prepared for some knowledge.....

Sublimity Blueberries flown to Alaska from Oregon, then put on a boat heading back to Oregon.
