1230p, Tuesday, September 1. UPDATE‼️
🐛🌽 THE WORMS HAVE US‼️ NO SWEET CORN AVAILABLE.

Sad discovery this afternoon. The next planting has an incredibly high percentage of worms. Not unusual as the summer comes to an end for crop that is not sprayed with pesticides. We were hopeful to go further, but it is what it is. We will check the next planting when it matures, but the odds are high the rest of it will end up with worms as well.

Thank you for making sweet corn well worth bringing back! We'll be sure to plant earlier next year and hit the rack in July for another season! !

For now, we'll plan to see you with all of our fall goodies begining September 16, 11a! 🍂🎃

Great opportunity for some quick cash! We have ONE remaining opening on our pumpkin crew. First shift begins September 3rd with shift opportunities through mid-October. Sign-up scheduling, meaning you choose your shifts. 👏 Qualifications below.

📣Perfect side job for: high school/early college ages [15-20 years old] must be available Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays 4p-830p, optional Fridays & Saturdays mornings and first Sunday in September. Must be able to carry heavy weight for extended periods of time in various conditions. This is a labor-intensive job with exposure to heat, mud/wet conditions, seasonal allergens, and end of season cool conditions. Primary work is loading and unloading pumpkins/gourds, bundling corn stalks, restacking and cleaning up spoilage so that we maintain a fresh and organized appearance. These last two openings are great for youth with no fall sports schedule conflicts during September & early October.

Planting #4 surprised us & is READY. However, she's slender. These two photos compare our average ears to today's harvest & while the picture doesn't really show the difference as well as I was hoping, it's smaller than our usual crop. We won't price gouge you when we know something is subpar, so we're dropping the price to FIVE DOLLARS for 13 ears. .

**Roughly half of this planting suffered wind damage during crucial ear growth. So, we will run out faster than usual because there is only a day or two of harvestable corn. Volume of sales will determine how quickly it's gone. We would recommend snagging it today if you're really hoping for a batch. Then we will be timed out again for the fourth planting to come along. We have eight plantings total, so we have plenty more to come.
