What projects have we completed on the farm in 3 years? We have:
- Removed contents that filled EVERY BARN
- Took down a 20x100 foot barn that was caving in from the roof center
- Replaced every single 40-year-old fence post that snapped off like styrofoam!
- Replaced fencing 3 times now finally figuring out what works best 😏
- Fenced in our back 15 acres for a grazing pasture
- Built birthing stalls to keep mamas with babies
- Purchased a Kubota tractor in May 2024
- Upgraded our hay baler to a newer-used one
- Purchased what-feels-like a gazillion water and feeder troughs and now have durable ones!
- Acquired large used grain bins
- Poured concrete pads to bolt the grain bins on
- Had a painter sand, primer, and paint the grain bins to make them last a long time!
- Eliminated usage of a gravity wagon and conveyor to getting grain delivered
- Cultivated, bred, and improved our herd IMMENSELY!

Last weekend we were able to put in a feeder panel system that allows the Handsome Rancher to feed from one side and keeps the moo moos on the other side! This is SO much easier because the feed troughs are right next to the grain bins! It is also MUCH SAFER because it keeps him out of being in the cattle pen with a herd of hungry cows! Thank you SO MUCH TO EVERYONE that supports our farm by purchasing beef, pork, eggs, chicken, and lamb over the last 3-1/2 years! We have made so much progress improving the farm!
