I’m away at the beach but farmer Shane is holding the fort down pretty well. Our Tatlayoko girls, Ricochet of Crocus Hill, and the twins that were just weaned, Rhyme & Reason. They all get along well and aren’t feed hogs!

Krumpet of Willow Glen had a beautiful white heifer early this morning, weighing 66lbs, sired by RVH Babe Ruth. She is as spunky as they come.

It was fun separating the two to get her umbilical dipped and fly spray on her bottom. The temp is rising so the flies are on the hunt. Krumpet is being a great Mama, cleaned her off well and they are already attached at the hip. Thankful for a happy healthy calf🤍 now we need to decide on an S name.

Spent the evening doing a little groomin’. Some girls need it more than others but they look brand new afterwards. I’m thankful for the cows that love a random brush in the pasture like this one- Canfield’s Nina.
