Dog Gone Ranch Continuing our new life adventures after over 40 years fishing and diving in Key West, FL.

We have started a small hobby farm on 28 acres just north of Trenton FL, 30 miles west of Gainesville FL.

Just when you think you don't have a plan for the day..and then life happens! Picked up 3 more peafowl chicks 3 mos old. Got the new habitat ready for them, and then they escaped! Tracked them all down unharmed from Karen the emu, but she gave them and is a good run! Got everyone safe for the night. Whew! Got the last baby goat sold, along with the red female piglet. Thank you Dawn and Josh-! Had watermelon fest for dinner in the pasture- everyone loves the watermelons! Another blessed day on the Dog GoneRanch 🙌🏻🦚🐷

Couldn't pass up a boat day! Took our friend Tina (Key West) and her sweet dog Orbit to the sandbar on the Suwannee! It was her first time swimming and she loved it! Was overcast and not super hot, water was refreshing and met some nice local kids! All the dogs get along well and I think we wore them out!

Busy busy Busy day on the ranch! Scored another vat of watermelons for the pigs and goats- they love it! Kevin drilled the right pasture with millet, Bahia grass and flower seeds. Picked veggies and watermelon out
Of the pasture and getting ready for a big Fathers Day shin dig with weekend with family and friends.

Scored a vat of watermelons and welcomed Key West friend Tina and Orbit back to the ranch. Mowed, seeded and fertilized the left pasture. Praying for rain!

Was a cleanup day around here, pickin stuff up and putting it away. Had several nice much needed rain showers! Another great day!

Ran errands in Gainesville and donated blood! Can't leave the Chief Dog alone...he scored 2 more peafowl chicks! So stinkin cute and about the same age as the other 2! Took the dogs for a ride- they love truck rides!
