Dog Gone Ranch Continuing our new life adventures after over 40 years fishing and diving in Key West, FL.

We have started a small hobby farm on 28 acres just north of Trenton FL, 30 miles west of Gainesville FL.

They called for rain and it was absolutely gorgeous! Go figure! Made 6 bags for friend, and got an order for 6 more! Pigsters are growing fast and will go to auction on Sat if they don't sell by then.Lost one of my momma hens, no idea what happened. Dinnertime always a blast! Fresh corn, scallions from the garden and steak from our cow made a delish dinner, compliments of the Capt.

It happened! We finally took the boat out again! Went to the boat ramp on the Santa Fe about 5 miles up the road. Water is really shallow because of the drought but was a good day to take the dogs for a ride. Skyes first boat ride! She did great! Had a nice lunch in Branford at Our Place. Discovered mini tiny fish in the pond, and tadpoles 👀🐸 Stay tuned, they may get rehomed to the river after that last frog adventure🥳 Saw a gorgeous field of marigolds on the way home, and my sunflowers are so pretty here.

Plan B day- we were going to take the boat out but weather said no :( Sold the baby female goat, and Ginger our momma pig. Still downsizing the farm. She went to a good home! Piglets are doing good-the first 2 weeks are the hardest. Finally getting some much needed rain! I'll take it! Had great visit from one of my besties from Indiana- short but sweet visit! Always great to catch up!

Piggies, mommas and more piggies! Got 2 food plots mowed along with the driveway, road front, neighbors road front and the garden. 2 food plots seeded with the drill. Nice visit short with family..all in a days work!

The tadpoles emerged from the gel, for the time being I rehomed them to a bucket from Jake's water pan. We lost another
Piglet today, think Momma laid on it.totally sucks!!! On a good note- Kevin seeded the pasture again with millet and Bahia grass. Hoping we still keep getting the showers to make it grow. And another good note- 2 of the older piglets got a new home today, and one of the newest got spoken for. Will keep her a few more weeks til she starts grazing. Baby female goat is again available for adoption, message if interested!

This day just kept getting better! Lefty had 9 piglets by 5:30 am! All healthy and best we can tell 3 girls and 6 boys. Goldie's 5 fluffy butts doing great! Scored a bunch of eggs after scrambling over 7 dozen this am for dogs! Jake loves cabbage and carrots. And Leo has the best smile! Another productive day on the

Mr Ghost is limping for some reason, his foot/leg look fine, not sure what's up. Frogs are at it again..frog p**n was NOT on my Bingo card today but pretty sure I found frog eggs in Jake's water pan! Drained the pig pool and everyone enjoyed a dip in the mud! 2 piggies went to a new home- that leaves 5 left! Lefty has been moong lower and breathing hard so pretty sure more piggies are on the way soon. Moved her to the maternity ward, just in case-stay tuned! Another fun day on the

Beyond blessed and remembering those who paid the ultimate sacrifice🇺🇸
Scored 2 Pallets of bread and romaine lettuce from the food bank in Palatka. Shared with friends and family and still have a bunch left for our critters! Had a great visit from family, and a piglet got a new home with her brother!

Piggies were all snug as bugs under the dog house this morning! Headed to small animal auction in Jasper Fl just to look around- very interesting to say the least! Got home
Just in time for dinner!
