Cooler temps and fog started off the morning! Peafowl showing their colors! We got a pip in the incubator- a bantam silkie egg! Went to run some errands and found Freya! With her new baby! We knew it was coming, just didn't know when. So stinkin cute! Had to help the chick out of the shell, but it's doing well. End of the day, Smoke is broke 😂 (or ready for bed- he plays hard- all day long!)

Took a break from the farm and headed to Suwannee! Weather was perfect to take our 18' boat out to deeper water. (8-10 miles to get to 20 '!) We caught several Black Sea bass keepers and 2 Spanish mackerel-threw back several small Black Sea bass, grunts, ladyfish, blue runners to name a few. Came across a pod of manta rays! There must have been over 1000- pic didn't do it justice! Saw several turtles, and dolphins too. A great day on the water and we caught dinner x2!

Let Oscar free roam up around the house- his last day here- he got rehomed to a family of 4 kiddos! He chowed on the acorns! We've got 2 actually- freeloading frogs in the fish pond! Ruby Dori and Skye love chillin on the front porch. Kevin got the boat ready for tmrw and I detailed the Silverado( way overdue) with all this rain and loving on a dirt road, it's a never ending job! Silkie bantam chicks are showing their colors and the 2 remaining guineas are all doing well!

Finally! We got sun today in between rain showers! Sad to announce we lost Sparky, the Guinea with splay legs. Found him dead when I woke up this am. Hate that I try so hard and it doesn't work. We gave him a proper burial . Had a great visit with family-my granddaughter loved all the critters. Hooked up my new bird camera-my bday present to me-from ME!

Made a new leg brace for the chick with splay legs yesterday. He's still pretty wobbly. Hate seeing him struggle. Moved the new guineas out of the incubator and into a brooder with a heat lamp. Got the pigs a couple pumpkins at Walmart-they love em! The silkie bantam chicks are getting pin feathers already! 2 look like they will be white like their mom Bam Bam and the other 2 are speckled like their dad! Rebel, Stripe, Snowball and Snowflake! Domino took over mom duty for Eloise's 4 piglets.
Let them out to roam around a bit today. So darn cute! Got a great gift from Cristina Pina- an egg stamp with food grade ink! I love it! Tyvm!

I think Jake likes his new gf Filbert 😂 Tortoise p**n was not on my Bingo card today. Made a trip to the day old bread store and loaded up the fridge 3 buggies 25$! Winning! Ruby says let's go! She loves riding! Checked on the pumpkins and fertilized with 3 buckets of chicken and pig poo. Sloan stuttin his stuff- he's such a funky chicken! And he's nice now! The newest Guinea has splay legs- happens sometimes when they are born. I made it a brace so hopefully will be strong enough to stand within 24 hrs- so stinkin cute!
