Thank you to everyone who came out the past five or so weeks. You made a dream come true for me — and it was a great experience for my children who helped me as well! We made some new friends and I totally cherish that! We made some great new memories too!  if you have any pictures you wanna share in the comments I love to look at those or just even private message me some if you want to share any cute ones you got!
We might schedule some gatherings a little sooner than this, but definitely keep your eye out for a Vendor Market Day in the middle of October if you’d like to come see us over here again! God Bless! He is so Good! 🐷🐐🐰🐓🐖🐔🐰🚜🐴🐎🍿🌹🌺🌷🌻👶🧒💃

Hello Everyone! We had a wonderful group last Friday and we plan to do one more “Farmy Fridays” over here on the little homestead, on July 31st! (There’s a chance we might do some of these in the Fall so be on the lookout. 🙂 ) Come this Friday if you can and invite friends and family. It’s from 9:00 to 1:30 and all ages are welcome. There will be some fresh flowers and treats from our farm to buy. Please RSVP in comments or PM us even if it’s just a Maybe so we can have an idea of who might be coming! Dress for water play and bring a picnic if you’d like! $10 per family is the suggested donation, or buy $10 worth of products (see the options below) from us. It really helps us maintain the farm. 🙂

Things to do on Farmy Fridays!
– face painting (recommended when kids are done with water play!): donations accepted
– hay ride
– farm animal interaction and feeding
– donkey leading
– iced coffee, lemonade, sweet treats, popcorn, and more: donations accepted
– John Deere Gator rides
– singing on the microphone
– wildflowers to pick
– zip line with parental supervision.
– professional-grade water inflatable bounce and slide
– climbing into the silo
– kids craft,
– music and free dance/play,
– and an easy country dance lesson-all in the big barn
– areas to have a picnic (picnic tables available)
– fishing or playing with nets in the little creek
– nature walk in the woodland area
– U pick flower and herb gardens: donations accepted and please ask for assistance
– sprinkler play
– 100 ft. slip and slide
– roasting marshmallows at the fireplace
– yard games like wiffle ball or kickball, etc.
– air-conditioned cabin
– water play in the cow trough
– volleyball net
– kids can bring bubbles or kites, etc.
– and there's more!

Approximate Schedule of Owner-Guided Activities: (Note: Free play — see list above for ideas — is an option during this time if not interested in these activities. Parental Supervision is necessary at all times according to child’s age and development.)

9 o’clock to 9:30 – fishing and creek play
9:30 to 10 – craft
10 to 10:30 – animal feeding and interaction
10:30 to 11 — hay ride, silo play and more animals
11 to 11:30 – barn loft play including dancing and microphone singing
11:30 and on, free play on your own or hop into the owner guided activities starting over!

A HUGE and HEARTFELT thank you to all who supported our Sun Valley Farm Market Day! We had an amazing turn out and glorious weather! We are so grateful to everyone: the vendors, the helpers (especially my “victims” who live in my home), the pray-ers, the share-ers (who got the word out), the players (musicians), the attend-ers, the believers (in it), the spenders (haha!)— It was a dream come true for me!

Hi friends and family and new friends to be made! It’s one month away from the Market Day! 🧑‍🌾🐐🐰🐓🐖🐴! Thirty-two booths and counting! You can get your local and one of a kind treasures here. Some items that I can think of off the top of my head are candles, tote bags, crocheted items, tinctures, dog supplements, tallow products, wooden bowls, wooden toys, fresh flowers, antiques, vintage items, cinnamon rolls, Mexican food, lemonades, fresh produce, bath bombs, lotions, leather goods, baby items, fresh salsa, sourdough bread, cookies, specialty coffees, and much much more!!

We got some sweet pictures from last night. I’m so grateful for the singers, nativity characters and the audience who came to partake of this sacred time with us.
The nativity pageant is very short; then coffee and hot chocolate is served, and then the animals are waiting for some food and attention. Might be a little cold for a hayride, but next time!
Speaking of cold: Please really bundle up in layers in order to have the best experience. This barn isn’t climate controlled but several propane heat lamps are set up.
