Today was moving day for our 3rd batch of cornish meat birds. They have been moved out to full time pasture now. They will stay inside their sheds for about 24 hours so they can 'home' to their new space, and de-stress from the move. Then they will have full range of their whole pen area, where they will grow nice and big for processing in about a month. We are gearing up for summer market and can't wait to share our delicious pasture raised meat with everyone!

Our baby pigs are not so little any more. This group of pigs have grown exceptionally well, their momma, Miss Piggy, did a great job raising them.
These guys are 4 months old and deserve a little spotlight for their adorableness.

Turkeys were loving the weather and green grass! They couldn't help but jump for joy! Our Heritage turkeys are thriving and growing like crazy.

We try to move our laying hens weekly if not bi-weekly, depending on how quickly they eat the grass. When we get to let them out after the move, they are always so happy and excited to see all the fresh green grass.

Our newest set of cornish meat birds are loving the beautiful green grass, and giving us all the happy chicken sounds. Once these chickens get out onto grass it's incredible to see how quickly they grow, and the amazing things they do to the fields. Stay tuned for field updates as all the chickens get moved, and see how well the grass comes back after birds have moved across it.

We have had many, many lambs born over the years, but I gotta tell ya, this is one of the cutest ones we've ever had! It is primarily black with spots and a cute black tail. Adorable! Since it looks so much like a little cow, this little ewe lamb has been dubbed miss bovi. Also shout out to Brandon Batty for being the handsom model this week.
